Thank you very much for the update, it plays so great biggrin.gif
But, one minor thing with the slothole image used, there seems to be an transparency glitch. I fixed it myself, but it would be nice if you could look in to this later smile.gif

If you want to, I can send you the edited picture of the slothole.bmp wink.gif

When I try to run the table in vp9 I get an error saying "Could Not Create Offscreen Surface" and it ducks out of the program. Can someone help me with this?

I did the first option suggested by StevOz and it works for me now.

After playing it numerous times to make sure this is really my assessment...

It looks GREAT, but doesn't play anything like the real table.

The left flipper has no chance of hitting any of the ramps on a roll through the inlane?
On the real machine, I can hit the camera almost at will with either of the right flippers.
The right eject shoots into the top two bumpers where it dances far too long.

This is probably the third most often played pinball for me, and would like to see it play like the real deal. Mind if I MOD it to play more accurately?

I just played the real version, and have to agree, it's not playing quite right yet. It's not a Stern in game play, it's a williams, and it's very bouncy. The Flippers should be a lot less than .58 elasticity, and they are very strong. It's also a lot faster than the one I played, and that had been just cleaned, new rubbers and waxed. In the real game, the orbit lanes were pretty easy, and the gobblehole was tougher, but this version it was reversed.

I'm not a big fan of the newer flipper settings for middle shots, I find it too easy now and the ball can move just way too fast. I noticed how strong a shot can go up the power ramp, and it really is unrealistic compared to actual arcade games.

Here is the point "the one YOU played" This Table plays exactly like the one I have played. I played 4 TZ Tables, and they all play different. more bouncy, less bouncy...

I guess the physics are ok like they are. You cannot copy a real table for 100% Thats why I call it CLOSE TO REAL physics. This is a simulation, and vp is the best in physics, but not perfect. Some people like them some dont. Maybe I load a dozen Tables online wink.gif For everyone a fitting Physic wink.gif
For me it plays 80% like the one of my friend. So my goal is reached. Nothing more to do here.

My current VPX Tables I am working on:

Attack from Mars/Finished - The Walking Dead Pro/90% - The Lord of the Rings/75% - Family Guy/90% - The Simpsons Pinball Party/15%

That's another thing I love about VP - you can change things and make it play how you want it to, regardless of how it SHOULD be. To some that may be unfair or unrealistic, but if it makes it more enjoyable for you, who cares? I've altered several tables in my VP folder.

I also wonder how a table creator's personal playing style influences the gameplay? It might play perfectly for someone's particular style, and way off for someone else's. Maybe?

I agree, Groni...I think you did a great job!!! Like you said, It is a simulation of pinball(s), not the real thing...It IS as close as you can get for computer simulation...smile.gif

Well, your table is exactly identical to how your table plays in Visual Pinball, even if it's not quite 100% accurate to the real machine. CTR 80% is ok.

I have this weird problem... all rails are transparent... same problem with the Shadow.

Maybe I need to set my computer's hardware acceleration to 0?

Resize the backdrop to 1024 pixels max. Then that's fixed.

You mean that I should rip the image from the table first... and resize it manually with PS or such?

I dunno if I still have RIP.EXE.

Brilliant... that fixed it...!!

Any available for the Shadow?

PS: Does VP9 have a built-in image ripper... or how do you extract them from the tables... in the old days we used a program called RIP.EXE for that...!!

The only thing you could do to make this table better is add DCS sound dblthumb.gif
