In this video it shows the ball come straight down with no bump:

Also, here's a couple clips from pinball 101 that should be useful to see it more clearly and also with some slow-motion

and especially big thanks JP for improving what was already my favourite VP table.
amazing.

(and for those intrigued by that video and gameplay, pinball 101 has some cool technical tips and great footage – my unaffiliated and unsolicited plug for it)

Thanks for the videos! Now I see clearly how the ball flows.

I'm uploading now version 2.2. I have fixed the ball hitting those rubbers and the ball go strait to the flippers. I have also added some rubber and metal sounds.

Thanks for the update, but I've had some problems with the recent version, if you take a look at the picture attached, you can see that a ball is stuck, it has happened a few times, a nudge helps.

Another problem is that the ball did not eject after video mode (I destroyed all small ships and took down the mother ship), I have no idea why, maybe it's a problem with the ROM?

If someone else encounter these problems, please reply smile.gif

JP, please look in to it when you have the time wink.gif

I can't see anything that can stop the ball. Does it stop when the ball goes on the ramp or when on the table? Try using VP9.0.8 and see if it happens, this is the version I use to make the tables. VP9.0.9 is a little more unstable under win7 64 bits (I guess it is my version, everything use to work ok, until I decided to update win7, and some new "compatibility" updates were installed sad.gif, the good thing is that I didn't pay for win... whistle.gif )

The ball stops there when it's on the table, when a ball goes from the left inlane to the bumpers it can stop there, like in the picture.
I am using VP 908 smile.gif And I am still hanging on to windows XP tongue.gif

I just played a 30 minutes game after I adjusted some settings on the table, I adjusted the elasticity on "Wall99" up 0,1 and adjusted "RGate" elasticity up 0,1.
I also moved "RGate" a bit, now it has these values: X = 786,5625. Y = 45,59375

When I used the above settings, the ball stopped there just once.

I've marked up in red where the ball get's stuck:

The gate is the problem. If you experience the error then just move the gate a little down, so it touches the rubber. No need to change settings, just move the gate down. The ball sticks like glue to the sides of some objects mostly ramps, so I guess it does the same to the gates smile.gif

I destroyed the mothership on the 2.2 FS version today, and the ball ejected fine for me.

Moving the gate even farther down than I did the first time did the trick biggrin.gif No more stuck balls.

As for the ball not ejecting for me earlier after video mode, I really have no idea, I guess it can happen sometimes in VP.
I just finished a 45-50 minutes play, the ball ejected as normal.
I even made a new personal high score:

Thanks again JP, you are the best biggrin.gif

Great table JP...I have been playing the Megapin table for about three months now, but I think I am going to have to switch to yours. Again, great job. Thanks

Update 2.3.1
-reduced contact friction to 0,0025 (from 0,0035)
-changed ramps elasticity to 0,3
-changed hole script to prevent missing balls
-Added Gi light under the ramps

As you can see it is not a very big update, I just wanted to see the light turning on and off under the ramps smile.gif

I'll reupload the table in a few minutes due to en error in the left ramp smile.gif

UPDATED! smile.gif (just redownload the table if the ball goes through the ramps smile.gif )
