To do it we'd also need to create a real time rendering engine, which isn't a big deal, but isn't part of our immediate plans.

I love how simple you make it sound. ohmy.gif laugh.gif

Would love to see pro-pinball on my cab. Will certainly support the kickstarter if cab support will be possible on XP without internet connection. Not a big fan of buying additional tables with some kind of online transaction. Like to keep my cab as far away from internet as possible. smile.gif

They mastered the physics 15 years ago, and now they come up with the best lighting to date in any pinball sim! A slider switch for the lighting. Gorgeous flashers. Dynamic lighting. The kickstarter must succeed!

PS: What would I pay to get this in the cab? I would sell my wife smile.gif

This would be fantastic in my cabinet someday.
I agree, no internet requirement other than the downloads would be great.

The Pro-Pinball kickstarter is up: http://www.kickstart...-and-remastered

You can get digital copies of all 5 tables at the $50 level, which seems generous to me.

/in for $100

Hope they succeed!

Just asked a question on the kickstarter page.
Got a nice responce.
The game will support xp onwards for os

Alsi was told if they reach their target goal they plan on making new tables for release and possibly looking into licensing some real tables

Sounds very promising

I hope they reach their goal.

Im in for 100.
Its a batgin considering you get all five tables and a boxed version of the pat lawlor table

I really don't have a spare $100, but it does look like they did a good job with the rewards here because you really feel like you are getting a lot in return, & so I'm definitely gonna find a way to donate whatever I can, even if it means being a pimp again (it really ain't that easy). Now, I think anybody who loves these games & can't do at least $50 considering what you get in return is a MORON! Why? Cuz I'm pretty sure I paid like $25 just for Timeshock alone back in the day. & that was 90's money!
So getting all this stuff for $50, I hope even todays $1 app generation can appreciate this bargain.

Wow how quickly they have hit $20k. & I'll be donating at some point, hopefully I can at least do $50. & the timing might be great on this because TPA's STTNG kickstarter is almost at its goal. & so STTNG should achieve its goal, letting more pinheads focus on Pro Pinball.
Its a win/win/win for all pinheads!

Pinball has come back from the dead in a big bad way. I just never knew that we'd see it in the form of a digital explosion. But hey, the tech is obviously there to make these games look & play like the real things, so who am I to argue?

This looks so awesome... I never really got the chance to play Pro Pinball full version, but I am definitely going to give this a shot.

One thing that I wonder about is what options are going to be available for PC controls? I would personally love to see full support for the Xbox 360 controller (compatible with PC), which to me seems like the second most ideal digital pinball controller (first being a pincab).

The left and right triggers are analog and so would be perfect for simulating dual-action flipper buttons, to say nothing of the possibilities of the force feedback to simulate subtle solenoid firings and not-so-subtle shaker motors.

Would I be foolish to say that it doesn't look like this Kickstarter is going to make it? I mean it's not even 10% of the way and most of that was one huge donation which is unlike to happen again.

I want this to happen as much as anyone and I donated $100 even though I'm on the fence about Kickstarter in general. I think this is going to need some serious promotion from the fans who want this.

Yea, thats the spirit! Yup, can't go wrong with a shot of vodka...wait, what were we talking about?

Edit: I found this litte quote from the kickstarter page which made my day, hopefully everyone here with a pincab will donate at least a 100$:

Creator Silverball Studios 1 day ago
Yes, we will have special viewing angle specifically for cabinets and will support two or three monitor set ups. More features will follow as we intend to build our own cabinet!
