Thanks Darkfall .. You're using Win7 64-bit in a 2-screen setup if I'm not mistaken?
Yes, I'm running dual screens at 1920 x 1080 x 32 bit, with one screen rotated 90 degrees in the video card software (since my backglass display is turned sideways). All running on Windows 7 x64 via a single ATI video card.
So could be the Win7 64-bit 3 screen setup that's causing the issue?
I'll try the 32-bit on screen 1 (PF - Graph Card 1), 32-bit on screen 2 (BG - Graph Card 2) and 16-bit on screen 3 (
DMD - Graph Card 2).
The
B2S all used to work fine everything previous Scared Stiff.
It does seem to be the 3 screen setup that is causing grief for some people. The screenshots you posted imply that the
B2S stuff is working as it should, but the backglass image isn't there - as though it didn't load it (couldn't find it, maybe?) or it's being positioned incorrectly - but your reels are there in one of the screenshots, so
B2S is alive. It's rather odd.
Could it has something to do with the update to the new
B2S for screen resizing / positioning??
Here's the settings in my ScreenRes.txt:
1920
1080
1920
1080
2
0
0
That ScreenRes.txt looks right to me. It's nearly identical to what I have, except I have my resolution swapped for the backglass display due to me rotating the display - so mine is 1080 x 1920 - but yours isn't rotated, so the settings you listed should be right.
I assume that running the backglass executable with everything else shut down results in the same issue? If you run the ScaredStiff_FS_B2S.exe file by itself, you should see the backglass come up - if it doesn't, then something with the executable is at fault, and we can eliminate
VP and HyperPin from the equation. If it does come up, then try running
VP and loading the table and see if the backglass comes up then...If we go step by step, we might be able to nail down what changes cause things to stop working and then focus there.
I'm sure this isn't the issue, but the executable's filename is hard coded into the table script. If you rename it, you need to change it in the table script, too. I'm sure this isn't your issue, since you'd be seeing an error about not being able to load the backglass executable, if the filename was wrong. I just mention it because I initially renamed the files and ran into the problem myself, and ended up editing the table script to get the filenames I wanted *grin*.
