Also saw that for the new version the plunger moves but the first pic stays static ontop of the animation.
Could this be due to me not using the PBW??

Worked just fine in the ol' version when I commented out the 779 line part. laugh.gif

Anyways! Thanks again!

So are you using the pinwizard for nudge but not using the plunger .

Hi master!

No I don't use the pinwiz at all.
Just the old facion ENTER for plunger action! unknw.gif

No biggie for me. Just a think I noticed!

What about the use of the rev4 freddy4 ROM? Any change of getting that to work uncle?

Thanks for the quick reply!

Regards!

I didn't try that Rom. In fact i don't even have that one. You think you could send it to me and ill see what i can do.
Ill check the.code on the plunger. If i can get the Rom to work. Ill do another update and add the multiple romset to the options menu.

I have a question/fault with the ROM.
The ROM on my cab runs perfect, but when I run the ROM in VPinMametest (to determine switches for the ledwiz) I get an error "Switch short return 5 and 6".
It worked earlier, but now it ceased.
I deleted the nvram and redownloaded the ROM to no avail.
Am I missing something simple ?

I get quite a bit of stutter on the ball and lag with the flippers (using USB keyboard for testing). I don't have any problems on other tqables, 3.4 GHz Core i7 processor, Win 7 x64, 8GiB, ATI Radeon 6450. Running 2 screens. Stutter with or without UVP.

Willing to accept it's me somehow, I'm relatively new in running Visual Pinball.

Is no one else seeing any problems?

Did you try pressing F6 as mentioned above and turning off the Alpha Flashers?

Actually I found the ROM here in the VP archive ! dblthumb.gif

Don't know the difference of the two though!

Cheers!

Yes, I've tried with the Alpha flashers on and off, as well as ddraw=0 (from another thread), neither made much of a difference.

Also tried PriFinity to adjust priority of the process; VPinball never gets much over 10% CPU utilization in any table.

Flippin Sweet! I mean seriously, you folks really have some talent/patience. May not mean much coming from someone who doens't have a ton of artistic talent, but you all...impressive! Thanks for all the hard work and time put into each table. Oh, and of course the good folks who do all the coding and software as well!

Thanks Joe, but that was in fact the first thing I tried!
When I do change to the new ROM name I get this error:

Line: 44
Game name not found!

If you want to change the start key open the table script and find this line:
If Keycode = 2 then Controller.Switch(4) = 1

Change the 2 to the appropriate keycode

I have problems with this. I have start key as "i" (same as instuctions in HyperPin). Tried changing the "2" to "i" in the script but didn't work. Error: "Variable is undefined: 'i' ".

For "i" I think you need 23.

I've tried redownloading this table twice. Keep getting a script error 'Line: 1448 Overflow' before it draws the table. If i hit ok i then get another script error 'Line: 0 Overflow'. Any suggestions?

Man this table is testing my patience!

It took me a while to get it to work on my cab, and now I am able to play it and I must say this table is awesome.
However, I could not enter a name for High score. The flipper buttons would not change letter and start not confirm the letter as usual.
What am I doing wrong now? the table got stuck at the name entry and I had to relaunch it to play another game, any suggestion?

Thanks

On a different and slower 2.66GHz machine, with an NVidia 320M graphics card, and Windows XP (x86), the game plays perfectly. As the faster machine was just for testing and the slower machine is the one going into my cabinet, my problem is silver for the immediate future.

hey all,

Great table, but I am experiencing some severe stutter issues with this table that I wasn't having before. I didn't change any settings as far as I recall and this table was working fine before. Now, when I start the table, the sound stutters (you hear the startup beep twice) and everything on the table seems to stutter (lights blinking, freddy's mouth opening and closing, etc.). And also, it only sometimes recognizes a button press. So I can credit the game and start eventually, but I have to keep pressing the respective button and eventually get a press to register. Then, when I do start the game, somehow the ball is automatically launching...I can't actually see the ball...but the dmd will display "shoot again" and Freddy will say "It's not over yet!" Stuttering of course. I only have this issue with this table and it wasn't like that when I first downloaded. I tried the both versions, and re-downloaded the rom, but to no avail. Anyone seen this before?
