sorry for the second post! can somebody help me with the rom problem?? thank you

You need the rom cv_20hc.zip, do a search for it. Place it zipped, (it won't work unzipped, sorry for the misspeak) in your vpinmame\roms folder. It should work. If not please describe what rom problem you are having. :)

I'll upload a B2S mod of it if JP and Roger don't mind, or if hmueck doesn't...lol...I've never uploaded anything before, i'd like to maybe contribute to the community...but first we need to fix the loop around! It's the "top eddy switch" error that CaptainNeo is talking about.
I'm going to see if i can modify/add some coding in the script to get it working tonight.
What a beautiful table :

I can not speak for JP but I don't mind.
All work I have done on tables, scripting ... are free for anyone to borrow from or mod/upload.

Thanks for a great update JP, I really love the new lighting technique on the inserts - really great job. The flipper logos are also pretty cool :)

Cheers for sharing! :drinks:

Can you make a screenshot with the print key (right of F12 on keyboard), please. Then open Microsoft Paint and paste the screenshot. Then save to desktop and upload to VPF Image Host (link is in top menu bar in forum).

Can someone upload the modded B2s Script for this updated table.

I will ask jpsalas for permission.

If someone describes how the orbit is supposed to work I'm sure JP will address this.

CptNeo mentioned this to me but maybe he can describe it in better detail:

...it's supposed to orbit around the back of the whole machine. On the VP version, it's not even an orbit. It knocks it into the hole in the back. On the real game, it only knocks it into the hole in the back when 'side show' is lit.

Hm, yesterday I said the B2S-ified version of the table works fine for me... this is true as long as I start the table directly from VP.
When I start it from HyperPin, I only get a black screen, and there is an AutoHotKey process called BlackScreen running. I have to use Ctrl+Alt+Del and kill that process from Task Manager so I can get back into HyperPin.

I wonder what the issue can be... any ideas?

That maybe happends because of a new fplaunch version. With them you have to set the "LaunchBackGlass" in the table script to "false". FPlaunch will launch the B2S now and everything should be fine.

since when does the rom get UNzipped?
that is a first for me as I thought they all had to stay in zipped format to work

@mavritanos: the link to the rom is in the first post of this thread. Also you need the latest vpinmame, so download it :)

@Aaron james: the ".grabcenter" in the magnet definition if boolean, so 0 means NO and 1 means YES, so when you add 0.5 still means YES :)

The plunger ramp: yes it should be 1 or 2 units wider. I though I had fixed that, but I guess I did in one version that got deleted.

About the B2S: since Rosve don't mind, then I don't mind either, so hmueck go ahead and upload it :)

Zipped not unzipped! That's what happens when you stay up more that 24 hours and try to do anything more complicated than breath.
Thanks everyone for catching my mistake. !!!!

FYI - This is implemented correctly in the Pinball Arcade version, I was messing around with it on my iPad last night and noticed that the behavior was different. I've sadly never played the original table. :/

I already tried that, unfortunately it doesn't fix the problem.

I don't think the width is the problem. Please check out Ramp411. Why is this Top height 101, bottom height 50 ramp over the Ramp219 with 50/0?

About the B2S: since Rosve don't mind, then I don't mind either, so hmueck go ahead and upload it :)

Thanks! I will put something together.

For the left orbit issue.... when sideshow is lit, an upper post appears at the top centre to drop the ball into SShole1, which I believe is correct. After this, the ball never seems to be able make it round the orbit, it always loses momentum and drops into SShole2.

JP, please can you take a look at this? When sideshow is not lit I think the ball should roll all the way round and come out down the right orbit/ramp.

Cheers! :drinks:
