bug?

so one of my power supplies for my dof toys stopped working and until I replace it I thought I'd turn back on sounds instead of the toys.  I just had DOF set for the stuff I had, but changed to SoundFX thinking I would get the sounds for flippers, bumpers, etc. but alas it is still trying to fire the dof toys as I can hear the relays (sainsmart usb) firing and I don't get any toys.  I tried setting it to both and same result.  so then I deleted the registry entries for it and got the dof message when i first fired up a table and it set them all to both as expected and recreated the registry entries, but i still am only getting my dof relays firing even if I set it to just soundfx.  running latest beta and windows 10, whatever this spring update is.  I tried overwriting everything with the 10.4 minimal, but still same result.

any ideas?

ok, nevermind, one of my audio devices got changed somehow, probably windows 10.  all is well, carry on.

edit the edit.  it seems that even with it set to just soundfx that rom controlled tables using just soundfx are still trying to fire my dof toys.  em tables using soundfxdof calls are working right.

Phew.. All that DOF stuff goes over my head.. I guess Arngrim is still the mastermind there??

@Hanz: untested, i just added it to your list of resolutions.. i thought this will be verified then..

I think i have come across a bug with the debugger. When you select a light and you have the option to set it on, off or blinking, once you have selected one option for example turn the light on you cant then turn it off again. All other settings for the light can be changed multiple times. Great feature for adjusting lights.

Why not select both flippers and do the change ? The only thing you need to change after that is changing start/end angles by giving one of the flippers negative values. It is not easy for the devs to know which should be a copy of the other one. The right or the left or the upper-left etc. It is pretty easy to select all flippers. Use the selection editor (best solution) or hold shift on keyboard.

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

Just another statistic: I think we crossed the 700 unique VPX tables border..  :)   I did not count super accurately though as it's hard nowadays with all the MODs/variants/old betas..

rev3455 is up:

- update gts1.vbs so the "5" key add coins on Gottlieb System1 tables
- update builtin tables with 3 different sling arms (thanks bord and BorgDog)
- add 3440x1440 portrait
- fix dynamic group rendering reported by hanzoverfist
- update NVAPI to R396
- fix UI optimizations

Just a word about the grouping feature: Keep in mind that the "Group elements together" has two functions:

1. if elements are grouped together they will be treated as a groupd in the editor. Clicking on it and all elements in that group are selected at once

2. if all elements in a group are dynamic primitive meshes and all meshes use the same texture and material they are grouped into one big render

buffer and that one is called with just one render call to speed up rendering of transparent elements on the table (like plastics for example).

3. if you group primitives even if they are dynamic (non-static) you can't animate or move/rotate them via script

thanks

you might consider updating the Hankin.vbs file, it has the same credit key problem

and the start button for gts3.vbs file,  the start button on Super Mario Mushroom World and Strikes N Spares had to be manually changed in the table script in order for the 1 key to work as the start button.

Request: Add 1440x3440 (Windowed Fullscreen) to supported display options.

done.. let me know if it works..

Beta 3455, 1440x3440 does not show up in the list, 2560 still highest visible setting.
