When i goes retire i may learn and try. But now dream that someone else will do it.

Someone who knows more and can spend more time on it.

I know nothing really, plus i work 16+ hours a day half the time
(ok fine granted, i can also have my laptop sitting here when i am working, but i dont accomplish anything quickly due to work interrupting)

I know there are currently limitations which is why most of the following tables haven't been tackled, but since this is a wish list...

 

NAGS (Williams 1960) (appears to be a challenge to recreate the rotating pop bumpers on the playfield and racing horses on the backglass)

Pinball Circus (Bally 1994) (JPSALAS/ Gargamel Park is an awesome alternative!  My son loves that one!)

Little Pro (Bromley 1990)  Not exactly a pinball machine and probably doesn't have a ton of replay value, but looks neat (rom not dumped)

Mini Viper Pinball (Sega 1996)  Don't believe a rom was ever fully created, but would be cool just to have something to throw in the cab

Playboy 35th Anniversary (Data East 1989) Actually surprised this hasn't been done yet.  Resources seem to be out there.  Maybe it's just a really bad game?

 

Most of these are far-fetched...but I never thought I would see Michael Jordan either!  The good folks here never cease to amaze me! By the way, is it just me, or is there no DOF configs for the MJ table?

Ok, i noticed, that the Last action hero is already recreated, then another pinballtable named "Magic Girl" would be a nice table

for VPX. I saw this machine in a gameplay video in youtube, i think this machine is from 2017.

the display screen seems kind of an odd choice of mounting?
Might just be the camera, the the table parts seem to block the view?

 

Poor girl has no pop bumpers though, unless i missed them

i still have to do artwork, it's still in beta. Table is based on attack from mars but with a lower playfield, skillshot, missions and wave's from the covenant.

Yeah, the biggest issue with Magic Girl is that the design is apparently overly ambitious in terms of things like the usage of magnets - it flips, but some of the features never really worked correctly, like the levitation chamber doesn't really hold the ball unless you push it in with a finger. It might be fun to recreate (in the manner of GOTG and Munsters), but I'm sure the magnet features would be a coding challenge to get them working as they were intended to. As a physical table, apparently it's really just bragging rights to even own one.

 

It is a Popaduik design, and the scorescreen mounting (which adds to the VPX recreation challenge) is very much like that of Cirqus Voltaire, which was also one of his designs. Magic Girl is also the table that cost him his reputation as a pinball designer - there was a lot of call for "make 'em whole" every place he tried to go work for after that, between the fact that it was his first/only table for his own company, that it never really got delivered until someone else stepped in, and that it was clear after units shipped that his designs worked best when someone else could tell him "no" on features and toys.
