I use a sound blaster card so I have no problems with the sound. but I'll go through the samples and I'll reduce them to 22Khz, since there isn't much difference anyway smile.gif

I'm nearly ready to finish a new update for this table. I think now the snake/skull ramp works fine (a slow ball could fall through the ramp). I guess is reason are the alpha ramps and if the slider is all to the left then there may be small gap between ramps, and the ball fall down. What I did was to add normal invisible ramps, and make the alpha ramps non collidable. So far so good smile.gif

JP

Amazing news jp! It happened again today for me so i was sad(after 270Mscore hehe), becouse this is so beautiful table...must be works well. But you fix it its very very good news for me Worship.gif

Your hard work is uncomperable JP

1.3.3 Updated 17 April (the last one for today smile.gif )
- tried to fix the ball falling through the skull ramp. To fix that I made all the alpha ramps non collidable and I have added normal invisible ramps. Let's hope those ramps will not leave holes for the ball to fall through.
- made the sw37 kicker more random (changed the angle as suggested by kruge99)
- changed all the sounds to 22Khz.
- In the FS version I have added a full wheel, with the spider and the lights to the apron. I thought that the apron was too small to have a full spider, but I think it looks nice there smile.gif. Anyway, I have left the old apron in the table in case you want to change it.

JP, the boogie man does not moves during the dancing boogie... Can you update again? biggrin.gif hahaha... I'm kidding. This is only a small detail...
I haven't done a complete "test drive" of the table yet smile.gif , after I do I comment.

Thank you very much for updates, Master! Worship.gif

Everyone playing this table should go into the "operator feature adjustments" and enable the boogie dancers! Thanks JP for making this table playable for more folks!

Wow! dblthumb.gif You're right! Thanks!!! This proves I dont know everything about this machine.
Sometimes I forget that "operator feature adjustments" exists. I usually just change the number of balls. The rest I leave in factory settings.

BTW, seems to be great the last update. Thank you JP!

Got better, I don't know what the others players think. But I think the ball lanched directly into the spider hole is not so good... turns too easy. I say if someone is scoring 250M, something is too easy surely.

Hi Sheltemke! smile.gif
I don't doubt you're a great and skilled player. But congratulations you broke the world record of this pinball machine more than 3X (Scared Stiff - 69,895,370 - Craig Sengstock). biggrin.gif drinks.gif
This table is one of my favorites and I consider myself a reasonable player and playing this real pin like a crazy I can't score more than 20M. Do you agree with me that the simulation it is too easy? I still have not played JP's Scared stiff with determination, but if I'll play I guarantee to you that I surely score more than 100M easily. But I dont know what happens to me... unintentionally I lose the will to play a table when I see the physics simulation is too much far from the real one... for more beautiful and well done that the table is. It must be because I'm used to play real pin machines. sad.gif But I love simulation too!
I do not blame JP for can't get adjust the table close to real physics, I imagine how hard it is to do what he does If not known the real pin machine physically. That really impresses me... how perfect in graphic details your tables are. Worship.gif
I love all JP tables and I love his job, from the deep of my heart. I follow his jobs from the first tables, then I can say that I'm his fan. JP makes incredible recreations, besides being a very good person, helpful, polite and patient. smile.gif

Take it easy. Of course i just kidding smile.gif

I understand you, but its not fair to comparing the scores with real machines. VP is always easier than the real one. I did ~200-300M score in the 9.08 version too, not becouse i am good player or something, but becouse VP is always easier than the real machines...

I'm also kidding smile.gif .

I know ... I can't compare real with the simulation. As the simulation is more easy for sure. But some tables have a certain coherence in gameplay. The difficulty varies from table to table.
Not comparing authors... just commenting on what I said above...
I play the Groni's AFM, and I can finish the "Rule the Universe" every time I play and I think the physics is very good in this table. In the real pin machine could never complete "Rule the Universe" and I am far from.
In the Groni's Medieval Madness, I usually score from 200M to 300M and is the same in real pin machine, and physics is also good for me. If I remember correctly the VP record is around 500M to 600M... very coherent with reality. Although a friend of mine score more than 1B in real pin.

Mine conclusion... Things of the simulation... Simulation is not perfect but we can improve it.

Billy

JP, thank you for this amazing recreation! I wanted to point out something I noticed when playing the real table at a local arcade. On the right Bat Ramp there is a spot just about the dead heads where the side wall of the ramp is gone, so that on a weak shot the ball can fall right into the deadheads -- this allows for a bit more strategy. I know you've done umpteen revisions of this table, but any chance of adding this in?

Here's a pic:

There's also a smaller one in that second turn there -- I guess that's so one could maybe nudge the ball off the ramp and onto the playfield from there.

Thanks again JP -- I love your tables!

Yes, I have added the hole at the dead heads. So a slow ball will fall down there.
But I haven't added that wall missing on that second turn. Actually I didn't know it wasn't a wall there.

Thanks a lot for all of the recent updates, SS is a blast because its pretty easy to score high and really rock this table. I also finally sprung for the silver and wanted to see how it looked in a post, so double purpose.
