If anybody wants to beta test it just tell me ok?

I'd be happy to test it out for you! Fish Tales was one of my faves and one of the first pins I ever played. PM me if you still need a tester.

After playing the Beta for an hour, I have set down the reel to shout WOW. Of course shouting is supposed to scare away the fish, but I can't help myself.

This table plays and looks as good as any I've played. The flippers have the new Noah settings, the speed and aiming feels great. Got myself a new high score to stuff and mount in my den. And the only bugs I've found so far are the ones buzzing around my bait box. It is already an A+ piece of work, even without the upcoming GI.

So glad that Melon has been able to carry on after his setbacks and deliver such an awesome table.

Thanks Melon! The Beta was super easy to convert and size to Fullscreen. This is a Quality table! The playfield looks great on a 40" TV, and it plays awesome! Awesome fast! It works well with the UVP from FD's site as well. I think I am getting used to the NF's (Noah Flippers). I may put NF's into all of my tables now. (Well, the ones that could use them.. tough to decide)

A couple of times, when locking a ball, the next ball would not release with the plunger. Other than that, I haven't found anything wrong.. but I have only had a few games so far.

I made a youtube video of the table in action on my cab with the UVP, but I kept it a private video until I know it's ok with you to make it public. I know some artist don't like their work to be seen until complete. smile.gif Let me know.

Yeah ive been giving this a go aswell, really outstanding work and what is it, your 2nd table melon???, great work. I too have noticed the plunger problem, also the slingshots seem to still active after the game has ended and the game spits out any locked balls, i had to wait a while yesterday for all the balls to drain, as the slingshots where going mad with the balls lol. One thing i did mention to Melon was the strength of the slingshots, now i have never played the game in real life, are they this strong on the actual machine, as this is 1 fast table, think the best score i managed was 27 million sad.gif

Hey thanks to everybody for your words, and for the betatesting cool.gif
Well, I've noticed the plunger problem and some other minor bugs that you found, I'll fix them in the next few days.
I'd like to finish this table soon, as I want to focus in my next tables.

Yes, second one. At the moment I have finished Cyclone. Fish Tales is almost there, I am scripting TAF, and have some tables on my queue (WCS94...)

I really need to invest in an HD video camera.. My SD camera doesn't do the playfield justice....

Video is not embedding here for some reason. I put the link on top.

I must finish my cabinet!
Well, I noticed that the lights on the ramp need to be resized for the FS version. In visual pinball you can't put a light maped to a ramp, lights must be horizontal. So I did a trick suggested by destruk and JP, I stretched the lights, so that in perspective they look like they are in the ramp, but they're really horizontal. That's why in the FS version, with a different angle they don't look ok.
I will also work on the reel animation for the FS version, as now the animation is at the side of the reel, but in the FS version you can't see the side.

I set the perspective angle to 38. Not sure if that makes a difference with the lights (some use 45).

Get working on that cab! smile.gif Obviously you are planning one?

Well, I'm working on a mini cab since December, but I need more time!
You can see the progress here or here. I've been working on it this weekend, so I may upload some pictures today.

Great work Melon - really impressive.
If its good enough for Rawd, then it will be good enough for my DuoPin laugh.gif
Great to have you onboard, keep up the good work.
Looking forward to this one, always a favourite table that I used to play in a local bar in lunchtimes - my lunch always used to overrun !!
Cheers Buzz

I think I know why the plunger sometimes doesn't shoot. I will also adjust the slings, add new sounds, add some lighting and I think next week I can release it.

Well, I'm redrawing the playfield (it's about 3/4 done), I have all the plastics images, so when I have all the resources I can start, but first I will release this one, then the Addams Family, then I will start WCS94
