After bunch of test with player who are agree to make test, it's appear if you have error that shows on dmd "switch short return 5 / 6", TournamentTimer need to be set to "1" and work on any situation and PC.

Search for the timer "TournamentTimer" in layer 1 of the editor, on bottom left from table, set it "1" on the properties panel, close vpx, and restart.

 

I don't understand why if value it's not "1", it cause an error if the value is not higher than 2000ms or 3000ms at least. But It work with "1"

 

I just did this, and I still have the error. Game wont play.

 Which version you have? In the last update 1.3, it need to be setup in script option at the begining of the script.

Enjoying? One of the best tables created in 2020 for me. It's in top5 that's sure. Masterpiece in all aspects. Stargate never get boring, especially in this quality.

I'm not completely satisfied for physics. A "Dream" could be that mans like @rothbauerw @flupper @fleep @G5K @3rdaxis and other high level VPX designer make great update to make it more realistic visually and closest physically

I don't think you should worry about the physics for this one mate. It is very enjoyable and there is no tables out there that has the physics 100% nailed. Just isn't possible.

Sorry for responding so late, but the Prototype had a mini playfield which was very simple, Only one Pop Bumper and about 4 Spot Targets around it.

Even if its a whitewood, there's no rom interaction with the mini-playfield as I don't recall a prototype rom?  so considering there's also no art, it would be useless to add this. Very cool though, didn't know during the design phase they considered a mini-playfield

What is the correct rom I'm supposed to use for this table? Is it stargat5? If so I have that version of the rom and it still states that I need stargat5 when I start the table up? Any ideas??

Then your copy is probably a split set rom and you need "it's mother" too to become complete. Know that this is a very common way of saving space for roms. You have the master, and then you have the other variants that contains the code that changed from the master. If you only have one of the variants, without the master, you are in trouble in many ways. In some cases you might be able to start the game if you downloaded it from "somewhere", and it has been manually put togheter - loosing maybe the rom sample sounds. Always, when you get a rom related error. Test the rom via setup.exe.

I've got flipper and ball sounds but no music or sound effects. Any ideas? Anyways the table looks beautiful, thanks for the hard work!!
So there's a few rom versions floating around. I downloaded a version that was around 700kb and one around 310kb. I extracted and combined the two and that fixed the sound issues. Awesome work guys!!!!

 

Hi. Same problem here.  Which did you download? from where?  I have the mp3s in the music folder.

what is weird is that it used to work a few weeks ago and i tried to update  from vp995 to vpx table and kaput!! Now neither one works...
