I think I will finish one more team and then do the sound effects on all 8 on this new batch and try to get them uploaded within a couple days.

Hopefully the last 8 tables I uploaded will be approved by then. It's been 12 days since I uploaded the last batch of 8 and I am still awaiting approval.

I saw that a Future Pinball table was approved today. Maybe it slipped by the approval process? Or maybe the administrators only had time to approve one table?

I am getting back to work on the next team. I love working on these tables!!!

After starting on these mods, I have a new outlook on each team, and now feel they are part of one big family. Funny thing is I have learned every teams Fight Song, and know most of them now by heart. So I will make each teams table the best possible, and won't discriminate against teams I may not care for.(cough 49ers cough)

Your Falcons had a great year last year and I was hoping they could take out the Patriots.(Another team I don't particularly care for.)

Can't wait for the season to start!!

I have uploaded the last 16 teams and awaiting approval.

Now all 32 teams are complete.

I will be adding classic logos in the future and Color Rush for all teams.

These tables are available for download right now at Randr's site VPinball and Itchigo's site Rogue Pinball. (I was only able to upload 5 out of the 16 new tables that were under the 47 MB capacity at Itchigos site, I will see if he will up the limit to get the rest uploaded on his site.)

I am going to make some wheel images for these mods next so stay tuned!

wow that was a large undertaking, great job.  I'm sure many will get played during football season when other fans come over.  Incredible thinking where you started and how far you have come.

So I started working on a new version of NFL table last spring.

I wanted to make a version with the original plastics, and shortly ran into 32assassin who then told me I need to update NFL table.

32assassin sent me all of his NFL table resources, and an updated table with new apron and stadium graphics, new primitives, new flashers, etc. He also updated the coding. I think its some of the same work he did for Kalaveras Striker Xtreme table. Huge THANKS 32assassin!!! What a great community member!!

He also taught me how to use blender, and the goal post you see is my first work in blender!! (Also the plastic behind red flasher is primitive I made)

I upgraded playfield image with many things. (I used the one scottyvh helped do the playfield lights and lettering on.)

As 32assassin told me, there are no known high quality resources for this table.

So I decided to try and do the plastics and playfield myself after asking an expert for help, but they had no time to work on it.

(If you want something done, do it yourself is a great motto!! Otherwise you may find yourself waiting for many years with no results!!)

Here is what I came up with. It is in no way fabulous looking. But it is better than no original plastics.

My new team mods will have the original plastics as default. Then team mods can be toggled. Now Plastics changes are saved and loaded on table reboot after modifying and combining JPs Lut script and STATs Team Change script.

Aww that is sad news!!

I will have to find a way to integrate his "Boom!" into the sound effects.

I am going the altsound method with the music and sound effects with these team mods, so it will be optional.

So I have got the Back Wall Lights scripted in. (Thanks to kiwi for script info on modulation!!)

I moved the Lut change to Key 2, and moved the plastics change to Left Magna-Save, and Backwall Lights change to Right Magna-Save.

The plastics and back wall lights can only be toggled when not playing game. (So you don't accidently push buttons while playing game.)

These backwall lights colors will have the team colors. So you won't find orange backwall lights, on a Seahawks mod.

These backwall lights changes are saved and loaded on next table run, as with plastics and luts.

 

Also it is hard to get different shades of blue on these back wall lights. no matter what shade of blue I use, it is always the same blue when light is turned on, maybe not as bright but same color. So stuck with one shade of blue.

So I have ran into problems with the music implementation.

So here is what I am trying to do.

I wanted to use the altsound method, particularly for the rom sound effects. No good to hear football music, if you can't hear all the many different ref calls and such on the rom sound effects, (There are over 300!!)

No matter how I arrange the music, using the altsound method and just replacing the music in rom, the music is cut off quickly by different table events.

Sounded like crap.

So I thought, Ok, I will just mute the altsound rom music, by de-amplifying them to 0 decibels. And try scripting music into table.

I wanted to have certain songs play during game, and have another for multiball, and have them end on drain of ball.

Well, there are so many different events on this table and multi-ball can be triggered so many different ways, and it goes up to 3-5 ball multi-ball.

So I am having a hard time keeping a ball count.

So I am just going to script the music into table, and not tie it to any events. Seems the best way to move forward at this time.

The good news, is only one altsound folder will be needed for all 32 teams, as it will just have the rom music muted in it, and only have the rom sound effects.

I was so disgusted with not being able to implement the music with the altsound, that I went back to work on graphics.

 

I redid the AFC and NFC logos on playfield, and added new lettering for celebration multi-ball, so it doesn't look blurry. (Orange box above NFL logo)

I reshaped the primitive behind the red flasher, so it looks more like the original.

I removed the white lines from the football primitive, because the NFL doesn't use those balls, only college has the white lines.

(You can still change back to white lines football version as I left the image in image manager.)

I also added NFL logo to football primitive, and adjusted primitive to move it out of way of blocking back wall light. Also slightly rotated,

Also added color change to Linebacker. All the pics I have seen online of this table, the Linebacker is white.

So now you can change from white to black Linebacker with the letter W. These changes are saved and loaded on next table run.

(So if your star Linebacker on your favorite team is white, or black, you are covered!!)

Also added team colors to flippers.

Also added option at top of script to change from transparent plastics to non-transparent, (Team colors on plastics sometimes look better when you cant see through them.)

 

I think I am done with the graphics, and will start scripting the music into table. (The sound mod will of course be optional.)

Once the first table is complete, the other team tables will be a breeze, and shouldn't take long to have all 32 teams completed.

Just an update to let you know 2 Team tables are fully completed. Seahawks and 49ers.

I just finished the graphics on Bengals table.

On the old Bengals version, I wanted to add tiger striped plastics, but was just a beginner back then, and was not able to get it to look good, so they were just orange.

Well now I have added the tiger stripes to the Home plastics!!

I wanted to have all 32 teams completed before Superbowl!!

But was only able to complete 5 teams!!

49ers, Bengals, Chiefs, Rams, and Seahawks!!

 

Adding the tiger stripes to bengals, slowed me down, as did adding new uniforms and logos to rams table,

Couple more teams will take more time to make.

Redskins have changed their name.

Raiders have moved to Las Vegas.

The other team tables should go pretty quick.

 

Just adding sounds now to Buccaneers table and that one will be completed!!

These are looking fantastic! I think taking the time to do the tiger stripes was the right call - they look pretty sharp. I still wish I could track down a legible photo of the real version's translite to read the final score & opponent to make an accurate backglass. If the Bengals win it all tonight, I might just have to make them a custom backglass to go with your nice looking table.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing the Steelers version since that's the one I play

I will make sure Steelers are bumped up in the next table to work on list!!

 

When I am done with all 32 teams, I want to go back through them all and add Classic logos plastics and such.

So for the Rams table for instance, I will add the St. Louis Rams Plastics, and such.

I was just in a hurry to get at least the Bengals and Rams tables completed before the Superbowl!!

The tables I uploaded this time, have a matching Pup Pack made by hawkeyez88 made for them.

(Why I chose to do these teams first. Except Seahawks, which does not have a Pup Pack, but is MY favorite team.)

 

I also want to make special Superbowl versions for the teams who have won a Superbowl.!!

But that is in the future.

 

Thanks for making those Backglasses!! I will be remaking the backglasses with the Fathead football character for all teams, as I was just a beginner back then.
