This table is difficult but very satisfying when you finally reach the goal. So addicting to play even after you reach the rollercoaster. Side tables are challenging as well.

Thanks Mr Salas for a great table. Your talents continue to amaze me. My granddaughter loves it, that is until grandpa screwed it up.

I downloaded 1.0 and 1.0 music pack and everything worked great. She loved it.

I then downloaded 1.1 and the new music pack 1.1 so the display would not be side ways.

Now I can't get the music to play.  The table plays great and the mechanical sounds play, just not the music on my back glass speakers. The music files have the bgout_ at the start of each file name. I don't have or understand all the DOF data, so it may be something to do with it.

Does the music for VPX go in the general Music folder. I did notice Gargamel Park mp3s are the only VPX table music files in the folder. PM5 and 990 tables (Sabbath, Grateful Dead, etc) with the mp3s all work fine.

I added the first Gargamel Park mp3 as my table audio in PinballX and it plays fine.

I'm just out of ideas. It is probably just a little tweak somewhere, but I've piddled with it for a couple of days with no positive results. I even deleted all Gargamel Park files and reloaded everything and keep getting the same results.

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

I haven't seen your post until now.

The mp3 files goes to the Music folder, as always. I didn't get sound either when I updated the bass.dll from one of the beta vpx 10.1, and maybe that's (or was :) ) your porblem too. Just use the bass.dll included in the original VPX, or the one from the latest beta 10.1.

Fun table.  Trying to set up for my kids, but cannot get the DOF to work.  I get no audio sounds from flippers, bumpers, slings, etc but I also do not get any force feedback.  I can edit out all the DOF stuff and just get the sound fx files played, but would really like to get the solenoids to fire.  Any suggestions?  All other tables working just fine.

Hi JP, you did the ultimate pinball game !

But I'll have to change my PC because it's too slow to run VPX :(

I have the same problem than many others, I can't hear the music (mp3)

Would it be possible to have a direct link to the working "bass.dll" file alone ?

Love this table and it's so unique.  Is there a way to move the DMD from the PF to a third monitor, like the equally as awesome Legend of Zelda table?

Thanks!

Thanks Carny_Priest but it still doesn't work

I'll try to do separated folders for VP9 and VPX like I did before

Be sure to unblock the dll and run the vpinmame setup.exe file and click install.  That fixes it for me if I have no sound.

Markrock76, I unblocked the file bass.dll and then run the vpinmame setup.exe but it still doesn't work

Perhaps it works with VPX but I just use VP992 with VPinMAME 2.7

Anyway, thanks for your help

Try unblocking the vpinmame.dll also. And did you click install when you ran setup. Exe? Just make sure that is the final step. I never had a problem with sound with vp9 until I had to totally reinstall everything and then I got the error bass.dll can't load sound files or something like that. So I unblocked those two dlls ran the setup clicked install and then it worked. If that doesn't help I don't know what else it would be as long as you have music in the right place.

Thanks a lot, Markrock76, as I've had  to install VPinball and VPinMAME several times, the "Music" folder was no more in the right place

Thanks JP. This is one crazy game!

I could never get this table to work, since your release I think. I kept getting an error on line 35 complaining about the version. I think it was because it was designed with 10.1 and I migrated to 10.2 betas. ?? Anyway, today, I just commented out line 35 and the table launched! Maybe this might help someone encountering the same trouble.

Yes, I forgot about that. In 10.2 that variable is used internally by VPX and it can't be redefined again in the script. I'll update the table in the weekend.

Hi JP!

Love the table! I was playing your recent UltraDMD update and I noticed a major bug. I cleared all of the Fox popups in the mini-game (lower left playfield). I then hit the ball to the back wall thinking there may be target there, and the Fox popups reset themselves. When they came up, they trapped my ball in the middle of the Fox popups. There was no way out, as the ball was frozen in the target field. I had to quit the table. I guess you could just let the ball drain out of the mini-game when the last Fox target goes down.... but it's probably an easy fix?

Thanks for all your hard work, as your tables are ALWAYS a treat to play in our house.
