Thanks for the latest update with the flipper speed VPM bypass improvement, it is a real and perceivable improvement here..

Where/when did it say this was added?

Hey Dark... looks like it was added in the 1.1.1 update.  It's mentioned in the changelog on the download page, but I don't see a date.  Actually, haven't downloaded it yet so going to do that now.

I finally got around to checking out the 1.1.1 version (I know it's been out for a while...  sorry about that)... it's playing really well.  This is a great table, Kiwi.  Thanks a bunch.  I love the animations on the alligator.

On the red funnel... would the friction physics setting have an effect on how long the ball circles as it goes down?  I had one shot in the funnel that circled many times (I think way more than it really should) and just wondered if any editor adjustments would affect that.

Thanks again!    :dblthumb:

Sometimes it happens with Win XP, with my new machine and Win 10 happens more frequently, I do not know why.
Is a magnetic trigger that attracts the ball towards the center of the cup, you can try to increase the power of attraction,
script line 174, increases the value 1.

I'll try to fix it somehow.

Hey Kiwi... thanks for the reply.  It's definitely not a game breaker, by any means... and most of the time it just does a couple loops and then drops through.  For whatever reason, one time it circled probably about 20 times... I wasn't sure if it was going to stop.  I will take a look at that line in the script and see if I have any luck.  Thanks.

*edit*  It could always just be a glitch with the VPX physics too, and something we can't adjust.

It's a great table but the sound from the ROM plays itself twice with a small echo. For example when you throw in the first coin it says "another coin please" and says the same thing again starting around the first "other" (from the word another). So there is a layered sound all the time which is irritating. I have downloaded the ROM again, restartet Visual Pinball but it's still the same. Does anyone have an idea what to do? Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: I don't have similar problems with any other tables...

You have installed the latest VPinMAME?

Yes, I have installed the latest (2.8). Edit: I have also run the installation of 2.8b just to be sure. But I think I had this version before. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. It is a pity because it is a great looking table.

The problem is still there but I think I know what the problem might be. When I play this table as the first table the sound works as it should. If I play it after having played several other tables the sound produces this annoying echo. I don't know the exact reason that leads to this issue but at least I have a workaround :-)

This is the only table with this issue so far.

Can not download it.

The table I assume, because the Gottlieb ROMs we know that they are no longer hosted here.

Did you try again? Did you try again with a different browser?

fyi, using microsoft edge, I get the same thing, file shows up as .txt.  For now, whoever gets this issue, don't try and open it, save it locally first then just change the file extension from .txt to .rar and then you can unrar it

Try unzipping with 7zip or something other than WinRar. 7zip worked for me.

Great update, Kiwi. Love to bring a bit of the FSS view into focus on my cab. Looks cool, plays awesome!
