Anyone else having the left kicker not working for them?  I've tried all sorts of things, the code looks right, I'm out of my league with this one.  This table is kick ass but with the kicker not working in my cab, it's driving me nuts.

Just downloaded the v1.4 and test. For me it's been ok. Kicker is working and lights at left slingshot shine sometimes. :-)

Last versions of vpx, b2s etc.

Yes, I have version 1.4, all the latest vpx, b2s, vpinmame, etc.  I wonder why that kicker doesn't work for me.  Tried it on 2 pc's same results, maybe i'll redownload rom and table again, even tho that shouldn't be it.

Do you have the correct ROM? If yes, you also could try deleting the nvram

Yes have the correct rom, deleted the nvram, cfg file, re-downloaded table and rom again from this site.  Same issue, i'm at a complete loss on this one.

Anybody want to share their copy of their working robocop nvram file? Thinking it has to do with installing robocop after upgrading everything to the latest version.

Thanks

I'm very happy with  Robocop, looks great in my cab!!  :good:

mnjgblg7qdrud.jpg

That could be the sweetest thing I have seen in a while. I wish I had those skills. If you should happen to feel like sharing that b2S it would be awesome.

This table is awesome. Which means its hard as hell.

I've played it a lot and the ball sinks down the right just like the real table, but since I have no nudging it kills me, another reason to implement a nudge of some description.

The thing I find the hardest, in fact Im yet to do it, is hit the lower right hand side ball under glass, '3. Uphold the law'. That is one hard shot. Otherwise I agree with the ramp discussion, it should be hard (which it is).

I do love this table, its beautiful and its difficult.

Awesome table! But I have a question;

Is there any way to increase the volume on the ROM?

For these types of tables you need to follow this procedure (I will give you the desktop version of the procedure, search the forums for the cabinet version of the procedure):

Click on the score window (DMD window if you prefer)

Press the tilde key (~) on the keyboard - that is the key to the left of the 1 key - to open a white box inside that window

Using the up and down arrows scroll through the options until you come upon a channel you need to adjust

Using the left and right arrows adjust the volume of the channel - left arrow key lowers the volume, right arrow key raises the volume

Repeat the previous 2 steps to adjust other volume channels

When done press the tilde key to close the white box

Click anywhere on the table to return focus to the table

Hope this helps

Skitso,  When you adjust your rom sound in vpx  don't go all the way up on sound back it down some.

If you go too far it will overload the sound channel.  then adjust volume with your speakers.

I love this table. In the last game a ball was caught under the ramp (Version 1.4).

Before that, I certainly played 50 games without any problems.

Many thanks for the great work! Looks great!

Is there anyway to pump up the volume? ;) i tried the 7 key thing but i found no settings for the volume (i think i tried every Menu).

Wolverine

To turn up the volume, you need to click your mouse on the DMD score, then click the tilde ( ~), then use the arrows to scroll through a variety of settings.  You can crank all of the volume settings to 100%.

There is a trick though, which is that you can't click the DMD score on the backglass, it has to be on it's own display (in PinMAME).  To get this DMD display to appear, you may need to right-click on the backglass, enable the DMD display, and then restart the table.

Thank you for this tip. It is the same as in the tutorial for setting the volume. Unfortunately it is not working for me (maybe german keyboard setup). Can you please post the robocop nv file. It should contain the increased volume. Thanks!

In European keyboard, the Tilde corresponds to the key to the left of the number 1, under the Esc key.

Excellent work guys!

Max

I tried everything, but it is also not working for me (german layout) if i use that key it only shows the global volume. in settings menu i only get with the 7 key, but there is no setting for volume :(

Wolvi

"- For JPSalas’ versions of these tables, the PinMAME window is hidden. To make the volume adjustments as described above, you have to go into the script and find the following line:

.Hidden = 1

Change that line to read as follows:

.Hidden = 0

Then exit the script and press play. Make your adjustments as described above. When you exit the table and close it in VP, you do not have to resave the table if you do not want to keep the PinMAME window unhidden."
