If this table kills your PC, please tell us what video card(s) you have in the rig that this table killed. :D

Great work and a stunning table! Thanks!!!

But you're not calling it PC killer for nothing :)

I would be very interested to hear what kind of setups are running this version without any stutter? And without VP V-sync.

I have i5, GTX580 (3GB) and it's unplayable :( . This is not meant as critique but I would like to know what might make the difference? I'm considering updating my video card for Unity3D project anyway so it would be cool to hear some comments.

LP version plays 95% smoothly with v-sync but v-sync introduces some weird flipper behavior (delay) sometimes and shots are going wide like playing with original FP flippers so I prefer not to use it if possible.

Ringorian, no, the sound is better than the contactor for this effect, imo

yeah sure, thats why i quoted it. You wrote that these can be removed ...which is wrong

I have an
I7 quad 3.4 ghz
16 th ram
Nvidia 760 2 gb
Win 7 64
Latest nvidia beta driver.

It plays smooth for me without vsync

I'm hoping once I change the gi to 14 textures from the 7 per bulb it is now. Will fix some people's issues.
I would imagine loading and unloading all those textures for every gi state change creates a hit on performance.

I think the models and how dx7 renders them causes the biggest issue though.
And there is not a lot I can do about that unless I go back to the cutout flat image based tots

Great work and a stunning table! Thanks!!!

Intel Core i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz with 8GB running NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 SC 2GB. I'm using the settings I attached in the screenshots in this thread V-sync set to 0 (not auto). Oddly the PC Killer version runs circles around the LP version for some reason on my cab.

I updated my Nvidia drivers from 314.x to newest official 332.21 and I got a big performance boost!

FPS shows only small increase but the ball movement is much much better. It's almost smooth on my laptop which is running GTX570M (win7 64bit). With the older version it was totally unplayable. My cab is a bit more powerful so I have high hopes that driver update will fix this for me. I will try that tomorrow.

Funny thing is that the driver update helped with this PC killer version. It had almost no impact on the LP version. VP surely works in mysterious ways :)

Ringorian, ball drop sound is ball_bounce, and i didn't include it on the sound exclusion list so it's ok

No bueno on my VPCab Mini (i3-4340 / NVidia GTX 650 ti 1GB).  FPS is around 40 and not smooth.  Vsync doesn't make a difference.    This, and the 3D patch to a table we won't speak of here, are the only two that give my rig grief.   Looks nice though!   Hopefully we can figure out optimizations to get it working on more systems without sacrificing quality.

Tried updating to the latest NVidia driver.   That actually brought my FPS down closer to 30, although it seems slightly more playable.

Are you using vp9.20

Yes, 920.

I have similar controller errors with tables like the new Indiana Jones, and Addams Family. All give controller errors on my setup. Wish I could find the reason, so far no luck.

I have as clean a setup as I can manage, all the latest scripts etc. Only when 920 came along did I start experiencing these controller errors.

Thanks in advance to anyone who might know a direction to point me in

Rig is 2x 40", Quad Core 9550, Ipac2, Geforce 680 GTX 1GB. In a genuine Judge Dredd widebody chassis :)

I have an

ASRock Z77 Extreme6

Intel Core i5-3570k 3,4GHz

RAM DDR3 8GB 1600MHz

GeForge GT 640

Win 7 64 bit with all updates

Latest official drivers

Latest VP beta

The game is playable with little stutter (is the same for BK2K)

Hope this may help you

I would be very interested to hear what kind of setups are running this version without any stutter? And without VP V-sync.

Just incredible, guys! Truly a masterpiece.

Runs flawlessly on a i5 3.1GHz quad/GTX 660 SC 2GB.

ok i got it going my problem is related to B2S. As soon as I put the code in for B2S, i get the controller error.

so I can play it, but without b2s. I get a fair bit of stutter though (680 GTX 1GB) from looking at other dudes specs that say they can run it, maybe a Geforce 7 series with 2GB Ram - or a bette CPU ? I have a fairly old Q9550 CPU.

I can play the LP version with very little stutter (but still cant play it with B2S - as it gives the same controller errors.)

Cheers
