Got the same problem as DreamTap, in new Medieval Madness and new Scared Stiff. I tried rolling back to VP build930 -> same behaviour: rectangular ball shadowing in some table areas

 Using Win7 x64, VP 9.9.1 & VP Physmod5 & VP10, unified PinMAME 2.23, PinballX 2.12, PinDMD V2 (Real DMD), I-PAC2 button controller, Ledwiz with DOF R2, Nanotech Plunger

I created a separate thread before making it through this one...I'm having the same problem...9.1.5 works fine, 9.2.1 crashes as its loading scripts. BackGlassServer also crashes. This is with both a fresh install as well as an update. tried various visual settings but so far no joy.

did the same i reinstalled full install of VPinball914 Full and put rev 908 exe in but it still does it and getaway still crashes. everything used to work in this version perfectly it's like the old install won't even take effect anymore now?

Hi everyone,

it took me some time to figure out that the official released version 9.2.1 is not working for me on my desktop.

My PC does not have a dedicated NVIDIA card (only my cabinet is running on nvidia!).

I was formerly running on 9.1.5 without issues.

After using "VPinball 9.2.1 rev932.exe" i am able to run vp as expected with my old tables.

I had the same issues discussed in this thread like "Game Script Starting..." hang.

So maybe it would be a goud idea for to replace the offical relase with a working one or the point out to the right

download location of koadiacs current releases (a little bit hard to figure out for newbies).

Since all the enthusiastic posts in this forum concerning 921 i will give it a try updatin g my cab with some new releases.

I also will find the time to implement a hyperpin switcher tobe able to launch and test steam pinball arcade version in portrait mode.

Hopefully in future release they will offer a dedicated graphics card output for 2/3 screen cabs.

Thanks for all the guys who still continue on developing new features and help the community with quick tips.

could all you guys please check this build: https://www.dropbox.....2.1 rev932.exe

(simply copy to your VP directory)

if that works and the official build doesn't work for you, then i'll package up a new version.

I just Updates my cabinet.

932 is able to Launch my tables, but i have sound issues. The sound Level seems to be very Low but my tables have a f8/9 Volume Level of 28!

Inside vp the Audio settings is nearly 100 percent (the defaults).

Any tip what is ging wrong Since updating from 9.15?

The sound issue is on new 92 table and also on existing older ones.

Any hints?

I was actually noticing the same thing...sounds, especially flipper sounds etc, seem to be a lot quieter with 932.

just updated to this now i'm getting gi ghosting. meaning GI is constantly on and when the ball passes through it turns off but you can still see an outline of it? happens on both medieval madness and new scared stiff.

Turn Region Updates off, and turn Region Optimizaton on. On my system it will "ghost" with any other combination.

I just updated the zip with Koadics build. For whatever reason my own compiled version seemed to have problems on some machines.

I noticed that the walls with "Enable Lighting" unchecked, the selected color is not working well, it seems that the red and blue are reversed.
Example: If in the property panel was selected  the color red, in renderig of the table the wall is blue,

if blue selected, in rendering is red.

Thanks

max

That's a VP9 bug that weirdly went unnoticed. I fixed it a while back in the DX9 branch.
