@Bitupset

Thanks for all the hard work you put in this.

I have downloaded a few BG movies.

imho the movies you made are for 2 screen cabs, because you let the BG dmd in them

Any possibility you can make movies for a 3 screen cabinet aka movies without the BG dmd?

Best regards, Ton

Yeah, I want the 3 screen Backglasses too (without dmd).

For the rest....Good work Bitupset. :otvclap:

Bitupset, let's talk.  I'd be willing to pony up for the Pro versions of the free trial software I have been using and make BG's for us  3 screen users. It would just be movies of the BG. No DMDs.

However, the recommended settings for my BG monitor are 1680 x 1050 and those settings don't even  work for me. I just finished trying several other settings and the only size that works for me is the one I have been using from day one which is  1440 x 900.  The 1680 x 1050 setting make the BG pics look like a postage stamp while the 1280 x 1024 setting kicks some of the BG image off of the monitor altogether.

What will 1440 x 900 settings do for others that have different settings?  Would it even work at all? Would it be worth my effort?

Assuming I could pull this off, is there some way to just get the back glass files and light up the 2nd monitor or would I have to download every game and run the back glass files as normal.  That would be a lot of games to download.

EDIT: Last night I added the Fathom DB2S BG to my small library of HP back glasses. It is good lookin'---just like a woman. I am hooked. Whether I can make it happen to produce the BGs for upload, I'm probably going to buy the software, regardless.

Needs to be named exactly the same as your other files for that table. Easiet thing, take the name from your table videos folder and make sure it's the same for your new bg video file.

Just verify you have the correct "Table_Video_Path" in the settings.ini pointing to your actual video folder and there is only v1.0 of hyperpin.

Please post the name of a table, the name of your HP PF video, and the name of your new HP BG Video.

It should be

VPT: Table

HP PF Video: Table.F4V  <<< Goes in the Hyperpin/VisualPinball/Table Vidoes folder

HP BG Video: Table.F4V  <<<Goes in the Hyperpin/VisualPinball/Backglass Images folder

Doing this without looking at my PC, so hope I got those pathes right. But you should get the point. Don't remive the F4V extention from the filename.

none of my videos have sound, that was voted on a long time ago....you could add sound to a movie, but you are FAR better off just re-capturing with sound....

First off download -  http://www.videohelp.com/tools/YAMB , basically a free muxing tool.

Pretty self explanitory but if you are using F4v you need to rename to mp4. Run Yamb , load mp4, insert your audio, push mux, rename back to f4v. Good luck.
