this one?

well i agree it looks nice, but it's not Attack From Mars, and it's not the (in my opinion) awful, (i hate pinball 2000, i played this last week at the UK pinball party in Daventry) Revenge From Mars, so what is it, a hybrid?

And guess what? the sound doesn't work?

I wanted to bump up this thread but you beat me smile.gif
Well, it has new graphics (playfield and big ufo), and I think it is the best I can do. I guess I still could have added more GI lights and extra sounds (rubbers, ball hitting each other, ball rolling sounds, etc), but his table is all about playability for me smile.gif Just hit martians and have some fun smile.gif

Downloading!

Finishing touches to what was already almost perfect & one of my favourites.

It feels so good to rule the Universe once in a while.
(with some tweaks to make it easier......)
Thank you very much.

Yeah that would make a nice small update for the future to add more GI and extra sounds, would be the icing on an already great cake

I don't know if this makes any sense to you, but I have a slight problem with the new version, please take a look at the picture:

Yes, the ball hits a post on each corner. If it shouldn't do that then I can move them away.

Ah, I see, I don't know if it's suppose to to act that way or not on the real table.
I kinda feel bad for not saying thanks in my previous post, but thank you very much for the new version biggrin.gif

Does anyone on this site own, or play this table, and can confirm?

I played one this summer a few times, but it was not in good condition and I don't recall if this was an issue on the real table or not. That being said, I believe JP has not only re-created it accurately, I think he's "lessened" the bump that the post normally delivers:

I've moved the plastics out of the way and high-lighted the wall and post in question. As you can see, JP has positioned the wall to the post at an angle to reduce the "bounce-out", I think, to direct the ball away from the center drain.

But I'll let you guys decide if this is an accurate way of re-creating AFM... I just love giving those a martians a good solid a$$-w00pin for messing with our cows!!!

Todd.

In this video it shows the ball come straight down with no bump:

From the left side it goes to the left flipper, from right to the right flipper. It's been a while since I played it myself.

I'd never seen this table either before playing the VP version. It has quickly become one of my favorites.

Thanks for the video. I see now that the ball goes strait to the flippers. I'll fix that tomorrow.
