Maybe it's possible to play the android versions on the PC?

http://www.wired.com...-apps-windows8/

I know in the article it says that you have to have AMD hardware for it to work and can only use apps from the AMD AppZone, but I saw where some people said it worked on their non-AMD hardware and they were able to get apps from the google play store to work (though I don't know how).

Maybe someone who already has the android versions could try to get it to work? (This is mostly above my head, I may completely wrong that this is possible).

Tried this a while back, it was not impressive to me. The graphics looked like Nintendo 64 era, and the play was choppy. It may pass on a phone but for a PC via BlueStacks I ended up with a :( on my face.

Bummer :(

I didn't expect HD graphics, but I was hoping it would be another option.

Voted! And I hate to say it but SlamIt Pinball Big Score isn't enjoyable, no matter how I set the physics. >:

Whit the keyboard jou can't change the flipper keys
So i try gamepad then you have no tilt buttons
The game is muts to fast hard to stop the ball and hold on the flippers because the ball is moving to Strange

new update on Pinball Arcade's Facebook page from 2012/10/07:

We're still trying to get the PC version of the Pinball Arcade greenlit on Steam. Our progress bar now shows that we're at 82%! We're not sure if that's 82% to being greenlit or 82% to being in contention, but please take a moment and register your vote by following the link below. Please leave a comment for Valve there too if you haven't already!

sounds good ...

It's a shame many of us can't vote until we make a purchase, otherwise they would make it easy.

I am not too happy about having to buy a game to be able to vote, however as there is a 1euro game on steam I thought it is a small price to pay if it helps get another quality pinball app on the PC platform...... Here is the 1 euro game URL:

Sweet! Will have to make room in my finances for that. Currently am going to be broke after I buy the Assassin's Creed Franchise on Steam. They are having a midweek madness sale featuring that. :D

I could have been smart, but I never learned anything by being smart!

Oh boy that means that there are 91 other games to get Greenlight 1st. Seriously how many silly Doogle Mc Vixel games could people want.

yes, the consensus is that this isn't actually good news.
The first wave of greenlit games in October was 30, so it seems that TPA will not be on Steam until 2013 if it makes it at all ...

The fact that there is no TPA on PC sadly says a lot about both pinball and PC gaming these days... ;(

This game has absolutely astonishing graphics but the ball physics are far off VP's.

I would disagree.  I think TPA generally has as good if not better physics than most/all VP tables.  Although this is kind of an impossible statement to begin with, considering the widely varying physics of one VP table to the next.

Hi friends,   if we all want TPA to be Greenlit on Steam, we can't just sit here and wait.  We all (and not just Farsight) have to keep spreading the word somehow, maybe attract so many votes that we will have the Greenlight at any moment. The deadline is January 15.

If only farsight would make an effort to get this game out. They show no interest in doing so. I think its really pathetic. Its like they don't want our money. And I'm starting to get reluctant to give them any.

Greetings,

I just voted for this game, i didnt knew it was on Greenlight @ Steam.
Also its just funny that the PC gets the last call in this game to be released, a lot pinball history goes on the PC perhaps the computer with the most pinball history
of all video games out there, Epic Pinball, Silver pinball (even on DOS Back then).

Also now i know this i am going to spread the word at my old clan community and every community i know. :db:

Frankly with the nightmares I've heard about awful performance on the OS X version maybe the PC one isn't worth holding your breath for. They're obviously not giving it much attention.
