Haha, well, we both know you're better than me at it because the scores on pinemhi say so!

Maybe you can add in a magnet so it can suck it up towards the shot so I can shoot the cannon everytime  ;p

cheers

I have noticed an interesting issue. The "Auto-Fire" playfield light between the flippers changes when I hit the flippers. Like one image when i hit the right flipper and then an extra line in the letter "F" in "Fire" when i hit the left. So when you are playing the game the two images show up with each flipper press. Has anyone else noticed this? I attached the two separate images.

Ok, I double checked your issue... There is no problem on the table, it's just because you don't use vp914 + T2 chrome v1.0.5.

I appreciate you looking into it but i am using v1.0.5 and VP914 and the new directb2s backglass as well. Maybe just some weird issue with my machine?

Intel Quad 2 Core Q6600

4gb 1066 DDR2

Asus p5q pro turbo MB

GTX 460 for playfield

Nvidia Qudro 600 - Backglass and DMD

It might be the Quadro....I just added it to test performance....I had a 9500gt before and i don't remember this issue. I will put the 9500gt card back in and test it out. Thanks again!

Could you snapshot the table in png please (only the table, not the backglass).

I have a very similar machine, except the quadro and I don't have any problem with the textures. I don't think the quadro is a problem since you use it for the BG and DMD.... It's weird :/

With a screenshot I can see if there are other graphic issues.

I found the solution: In the script in the line where you set the controller you use "B2S.Server". That is causing the ball stutter. If I enter "VPinMAME.Controller" instead of "B2S.Server" the stutter is totally gone and it plays fluid again! I simply use the B2S .exe file of the 1.0.3 version and it's perfect again! :)

Now the only thing is that the B2S file uses a backglass with grill which do not look that great on a 3 monitor system...

This is not the solution. If you leave the option called "B2S_Backglass = 0", VPinMAME.Controller will be used automatically, if you put = 1 , then it's B2S.Server.

So probably, your problem is that you changed the option (=1 ) without using the new direct B2S system. You just have to leave the option like this: B2S_Backglass = 0 and you won't have any stutter problem.

This option must be used only if you have the file called "T2_CE_Tipoto_1.05_FS.directb2s"

Here at my system the option "B2S_Backglass = 0" is set!! I thought it must be switched off when using HyperPin!? I was not changing anything in your script but "B2S.server" to "VPinMAME.Controller" and the ball was moving fluid again. That's all. I do not know why but it is the case here.

I've done that because I only found the two expressions "UVP.Backglass" and "B2S.Server" - no word of "VPinMAME.Controller" in that line. At least I did not see it. Maybe it's in a different line in the script?

But maybe it's because I do not have the file "T2_CE_Tipoto_1.05:FS.directb2s" - where can I find this file?

Here is the line in the script:

If B2S_Backglass = 0 Then:Set Controller=CreateObject("VPinMAME.Controller"):Else:Set Controller=CreateObject("B2S.Server"):End If

Here is the path to download all what you need to play with direct B2S:

http://www.vpforums....=11#entry200824

Don't forget to choose B2S.Server in the script ;)

B2S_Backglass = 1

Maybe I changed the first VPinMAME.Controller to UVP some time ago and forgot about that. I do not remember exactely as I changed a lot of tables to make them work with UVP. Nevertheless it's working now. But I'll correct the complete line so that such a mistake could not happen anymore. Sorry to have bothered you with that!

I just wonder that I get stuttering when using the UVP instead of B2S.

Just about flippers settings....

it was for me impossible to reach the skull with the right flipper. i changed flipper setting to 0.4 instead of 0.3 in speed flipper setting .

Better for me now, i can kick it and still able to reach other target with not so much difficulties ( playing 1.05 FS version).

I watched a video of the real pinball.

Surprised to see that we can also hit the skulls also with left flipper in the real game... and it doesnt seem to be so difficult...(impossible right now with this VP version or may be be just coz im not so good player)

Sadly, we cant see on the video the balll kick when the ball is catch on the right fliper and the abilility to reach the skull with initial speed (and if its possible to do it)

So sorry for my poor english....

Anyway, beside from those details , Tipoto, you're table is just huge!

Ive just tried to see youre other tables but only found this one so hope to see your name again!

Curious to know what is your next project...

Tu as mis la barre tres tres haute!

Thxs for your French Touch!

Good I might try this for the time being, if it's as simple as that, thanks.

Some good videos to check for this would be one of the PAPA tournament videos, I'm pretty sure you will see enough in this.

Hi there,

I had the same issue with the latest non-official 9.14 version. It came back to normal after reverting to the latest official.

Cheers.

Thanks Tipoto, I am going to try Pinball999's solution when i get home. If that solves it I will post and if not i will post the playfield.png you requested. Thanks everyone!!! And I am looking forward to trying ingames flipper solution. I have owned this game in the past and I agree the flippers just don't feel quite right. I know that I went for the skull with the right flipper and on the real pinball it was not a hard shot. Still love this game...incredible job by Tipoto and what great support he is offering. Much appreciated!!!!

just watched   your video Papas,

and really  thx for it!

it totally change the gameplay that Tipoto offers to us!

This video show a very high angle table. The balli is falling so fast!

As I understand, its a competition configuration!

Finally, i feel whatever the the configuration you choose, competion is between  your best friendsand you  while dinking a good Beer!

Same rule for everybodies!

Yep exactly right. It makes no odds with that frame of mind.

I'm not entirely sure but you can have a 0.38 setting? 0.4 is good and makes it a little bit too easy but 0.5 is way way too much power.

Really must be frustating to get a good balance, not as much as trying to make your FP table work right though ;p

Either way me and brother have had another good hour or two enjoyment out of it again.

I didn't test the temporary vp914, so maybe the table has a problem with this version. Hopefully the next official version of VP won't modify the table once again... :/

When I was making the table, these PAPA's videos didn't exist. I wish I had them at this time.

A quick heads up about the flippers: When you change something on the flippers, you are just changing one of the 4 couples of flippers one on top of each other that I put. They show up and disappear in a certain order when you press the flippers buttons and if one flipper carries 2 balls, the order is different etc... The script controls all this stuff. So if the flippers behavior doesn't change like you were expecting when you modify a parameter, it's because of that ;)

No worries! I'm glad it's working now :)

Sorry! I absolutely were not aware of the new directb2s system!! I just discovered this and I'm more than excited about this new development! :) Nevertheless if I did not search for the missing file "T2_CE_Tipoto_1.05:FS.directb2s" I would have never found this great new technology!!

I wonder why there is no download section for this new system?

A new core.vbs? Where??

I think these threads should be stickies - otherwise the could be failed to notice very easily!

And I think the thread with the directB2S should be renamed to something like "DirectB2S new subsystem and designer" or such.

Look at the top of the page, click on the left menu "Getting started" and choose "Essential Files" -- "VBScripts (Requered)".
