When i launch the table all of the flippers images (open and close images) are visible. So what i see is a fan image arround the flippers making it un playable. Is there a graphics change, or software fix for this.

Running a dual core cpu and gtx 220 windows xp

Turn on hardware rendering. Quit VP and run the table again.

Thanks JP, both for the table and this useful piece of info...I was having the same problem with this table as well as others...was just about to post the question, but I'm glad I checked here first! smile.gif

1.1.0 Updated 5 April 2013
- physics and object adjustments by rob046 to fit his real machine
- speeded up the alpha ramps used to make the bumpers and the top glass of the window
- replaced the alpha ramps used for the flipper decorations with primitives
- fixed graphic bug on the lights
- new ball :)

The table should be played with VP915 due to the increase in speed and better handling of the primitives. But I have saved the table with VP914 in case you still haven't updated to VP915.

On my end of things, there are physics tweaks all over the table on just about everything, plus a few other little adjustments & I might not even remember all of them.  Also ballsize was added, which I was pretty happy about because before, JP had to build the table pretty large which made the ball kind of small looking.  I was able to add a few units to it & it looks better sized for sure.  In fact, I think its still a few units smaller than where it should be, but currently it looks better & doesn't seem to get stuck anywhere, so I didn't want to go any bigger than I did, for now.

Might be tough to apply all these changes to an old mod.  If its not too much work, maybe re-mod using this version?  If it was just physics changes then maybe attempt to mod the old one & I could help, but then add to that JP's changes as well & I'm not sure its worth it?

Most of the changes on the VP objects and in the script were done by rob046. I simply changed the alpha ramps on top of the flippers with primitives, and I changed the alpha ramps on top of the bumpers and on to of the center window with a more "modern" code, removing one of the ramps and the width statements and changed to use the "image" statement. I didn't do much more than that :)

ps: now that I remember I did fix the hard edges on the lights by adding a wall under them to put them a little higher than the playfield.

Just got to try this new version out today.

It plays fantastic and the dB2S backglass is awesome as well.

Thanks for all the hard work.

Is anyone else seeing a green halo around the ball when it rolls over the large glass in the center of the playfield?

This did not happen on my previous version, but now I get a bright green glow anytime the ball comes in contact with that glass.

Not just on the bottom like a shadow, but all the way around the ball.

It's normal and this happen on previous version also.

Disabled "Anti Allias Ball" in the "Video option-ball Rendering" of Visual Pinball.

The reason that "halo" happens on the ball is indeed of the anti-alias VP does on the ball. To do that antialias VP uses the lower image, which is bright, and it doesn't use the alpha ramp of the glass. That's why the antialias looks brighter.

I missed the update in the flurry of activity over the past few months. Cheers for the update JP!!! :drinks:

Koadic, did you have still plans to update your FS mod, that version with the new tweaks would be a absolute killer version of this classic...

Great Job as always JP. But im playing the table in VP 9.9 and Sometimes the ball doesn't shoot to the upper playfield. It just keeps trying to launch the ball up but it just don't make it or ends up getting stuck.
