I agree that the table is a little easy.

But the graphics are far the best i ever saw in VP. Those lights and ramps are simply perfect! (What is future pinball? Heh) smile.gif

I agree, graphics are top notch, but FP has been doing lighting & graphics like this for more than a few years. Glad to see VP finally catch up, in that department. Played more of this tonight, i think table plays fine the way it is, but won't complain if you update it. Any way possible this table could render correctly in lesser resolutions, & why 1080 dependency?

Because the table is done with EMreels, so it's like a huge mathematic puzzle, I had to decided one resolution at the beginning then slice the puzzle with specific values compatible with this resolution.
Otherwise you don't have integer values and you can see where the table has been sliced and the render is not sharp because VP creates an interpolation.

Just had a chance to play this and I must say it was worth the wait! AMAZING JOB!

I have not had any stutters, plays smooth, and no crashes on the gun.

Thank you very much!

I've had multiple plays on the table, and been trying specifically to get the cannon shot - I have not had any stutter or crashing/error coding at all (even with multiple cannon shots per game). The game is an absolute trip and is as close to photo-realistic as I could imagine. I'm running Win7 with a GTX 580 and 'upgraded' other computer goodies.

Once again, amazing work Tipoto!

For the people having the issue when the ball goes into the gun, 2 questions:

- Could you try with a clean nvram? (Backup your current nvram to another folder and launch the table)
- Is your VPinball.exe clean or is it patched? (for increase the ram for example)

This issue is a known issue but it happened rarely and I thought that I fixed it :/

Here is a video that Gear323 did during the tests:

Does the table crash exactly the same way?
Thanks!

I tried with a clean nvram and I am using the latest VP executable. Still get the same result.

The crash is similar in that it happens when the gun is loaded, but in the video you supplied he is able to fire the gun on multiple occasions. With the issue I'm having, it crashes immediately every time and I never seen the gun animation.

loaded mine is crash on the lock, when the ball goes into the gun. ANyone else have this problem?

I have maybe a fix, could you try to remove those 2 lines in the script (underlined in red):

Here is the text version in case you want to use the copy/past for the "find" tool:
CODE
Sub SolSkull(Enabled)
    If Enabled Then
        If Controller.Switch(76) Then 'Timer_AnimOff.Enabled=1:End If
If HKS_Lights_OFF=0 Then HKS_OFF_switch=0:fnHKS_Seq_OFF():Timer_HKS_Seq_02.UserValue=1:Timer_HKS_Seq_02.Enabled=1 End If
            Popper2.CreateBall:Popper2.Kick 72,15:Skull_Secu.Collidable=0
            PopperFull=0
            PlaySound "Cannon_Go_Into"
            Controller.Switch(76)=0
            'BallTest=1:Timer_AnimOff.Enabled=0
        End If
    End If
End Sub

Still crashes in the same place, even with those lines commented out.

Did I mention that it looks awesome up until the point where it crashes. biggrin.gif

Ok, I think the issue lies within the version of core.vbs I'm using. I rolled back to the one that came with the installer package and I no longer have any crash issues. I'm currently using version 3.33 which has support for the ledwiz. This thread here contains the mediafire link to all the ledwiz files.

Does it happen all the time or just sometimes?

When I'm using core.vbs version 3.33 it crashes immediately every single time. If I use version 3.30 it never seems to crash, and I was able to load the gun 4 times in a row without issue.

I tried v3.33 right now and it didn't crash after multiple cycles... Weird!
Btw, with this core.vbs, the nudge has to be completely re-adjusted because you can't tilt anymore. wink.gif

Thank you everyone for the great comments, they are really appreciated!

About the core.vbs, I don't know what I can do, I don't have a cab so I don't use Ledwiz system, I guess it's for additive real flashers right?
What do I have to do to activate Ledwiz and recreate the bug?

Yeah, once you unplug the ledwiz all of the crashing problems appear to go away. It's probably not an issue with the core.vbs, but rather how the table is interacting with the ledwiz modification. I wish I knew more about the internals of this stuff so I could better troubleshoot.

I have a ledwiz connected and no crashes (latest core.vbs)

Very nice Table .. Thanks!

Cheers,
FD.

ps. Table settings are 'personal' too .. I always change the settings of a specific Author when he/she releases a Table straight away because gameflow 'sucks' otherwise! wink.gif

EDIT: Just played the Table: Holy Moses!! smile.gif

Salut Tipoto

Bye.
