It's OK TAB - Itchigo and Flying Dutchman are still running Visual PinMAME 2.3.

The Night Rider romsets were changed for 2.4.

http://pinmame.svn.s.../...847&r2=3212

We now have Nightrdr, nightr20, and nightrdb.

They have two easy choices - either
1) keep the pinmame version they have, download the nightr20.zip set from here, and rename the zip file to nightrdr.zip on their computer
or
2) install the 2.4 revision of visual pinmame and download the nightrdr.zip set from here.

Then the error will go away.

oh yeah, another option, if you use clrmamepro or rom manager and change your rom collection to use merged sets, then vpm will look at the parent rom and use matching checksums in that zip file that it needs. That will fix this one, but prevent you from using UVP with any new unique driver names and support we added in 2.4 like Ice Cold Beer, Zeke's Peak, etc etc.

I thought 2.4 was for cabinets only? I can change the rom name, thanks Destruk! dblthumb.gif

There is a version for each, and they're interchangeable. The cabinet version has fewer popup windows about inaccurate sound, not working, etc etc.

Got it!! Thanks Tab for a very nice table!! dblthumb.gif Changing the rom name did it. I didn't have to mess with the script.

Thought there were some issues, but all is fine.

Please disregard any earlier edits you may have read.

Great Job!

No - the thanks goes to you.
I have only downroll a routine without real thinking about the lights.
Too much worked last with real MPU boards. My Eight Ball has the bumper lights on the GI for example. So no thinking about it.
