If Slamt1lt can't take a comment it says more about him then a sharp comment from Destruk.
I always been a fan of his outstanding mods, but that ended today.

Well, at least in my opinion, it's hard to 'just shut up' when he (destruk) and many, MANY others have done a lot for this community for nothing more than the satisfaction of contributing to other peoples' happiness.

Straw man's argument. There is simply no excuse to go to somebody's site and negg the owner for no good reason just to cause trouble. Sure the owner is eccentric, but also talented. Eccentric & talented often go hand in hand. We all know that. So why be a whiny little brat at someone's else's home, when you "have done so much for the community"? Especially with all the foresight it is bordering on stupidity. Hell, we all make mistakes. I make them daily. But instead of apologizing to some members of the community, Destruk and some others, are proud of it. "You see, I told you so".

So what if he wanted to have 1000 views as an "interest" test? Was it necessary? Probably not. Is it good for the community that not everyone is doing this. Of course! Yet, it was no 1000 dollars, nor 1000 "you are the greatest" kisses.

I was also looking forward to this table, but blaming destruk is ridiculous. As said earlier destruk's contribution to the virtual pinball community is unsurpassed and I am sure we wouldn't be where we are nowadays without his efforts.

It would be an interest test only if he hadn't stated that we would only release the table on 1,000 views. Having stated it, it's obviously a plea for attention.

After dealing with this guy on numerous occasions, having to ban him for modifying others' work without permission, and he even continues to do so even after everyone has asked him not to, and even going so far as to post another member's name and photos on some very embarrassing sites, you're defending a blight on the community.

Have at it, that's your prerogative, I suppose.

He can't take a single negative opinion, so if it wasn't me it would have been someone else. I was simply testing his predictability, and now he owes me $20.

lol... You can think what you want to. He doesn't forgive or forget, what about the shoe on the other foot? If it's similarities you are looking for, I still think I come out slightly on top as I don't play games with anyone, pull heartstrings, or demand undying devotion from others to do what I do. Send him hundreds of flowery emails, be obsequious, grovel, promise him stuff like clean playfield images, scripting help, be a devoted slave to his will and I'd bet that $20 back that he will provide you a table or two. If you want to be at his mercy, and allow him to take full advantage of everybody, go ahead and do that. I'm simply clipping a bad influence with a simple statement that destroyed your world. Amazing huh?

With all due respect, you have a whole 5 posts here, and we have been dealing with this guy for over two years.

Not only should you not be judging people, you simply haven't had enough time around here to have a clue what it's all about, so give it a rest.

Maybe because to some people, his 'jackpot' isn't worth the time required to beg for it.........

Destruk is right. It is a scam. Either release stuff because you want to, or keep it to yourself. What he did was an obvious call for attention, and it sadly, worked perfectly....


We have over 300 gorgeous tables to play,yet some acted like this single table from a guy with a history of flaky behavior was going to be the greatest thing ever. It's not. We'll get by without it.

This is totally correct! I'm sure about it too... Slamt1lt has a great sense for drama. So please, simply ignore him and if he decides to give his table away then cool, otherwise, we have hundreds (thousands?) tables to play.
More over, there are really cool tables to come!

We can't let authors run amok like this. It is a PRIVILEGE for an author to build a table just as much as it is for us to receive them. This guy isn't Black, he didn't create FP, nor did he create Tron or the Stern table this is loosely based on. Tables are free & whoever wants to make one should be doing it out of enjoyment, then they can either share it or don't. It is so stupid to put restrictions on a table like it having 1,000 views before release or sharing & then pulling it. This screams to me that you are making tables for popularity & to be able to make this childish power move to help stimulate the ego.

Either share the table or don't, none of this in between shit.
