Update 2.3.2 10 July 2011
- Updated the flashers with stronger bulbs
- Fixed a few small things, like the ball getting stuck on the ramp behind the dragon.

I didn't have much to do today, so I thought why not add some of those flashers made with alpha ramps? So here they are They aren't much different than the old ones, I just added a simple spark.

(I forgot about that transparency not being alpha, but it is ok like this )

I'm not really back, just a little stop in the "resting" I still need to learn the vmware exs software since at work they have buy 3 big servers and they expect me to virtualize about 28 servers by September (and to upgrade the AD domain from 2003 to 2008), and I still haven't seen the software since it was installed just the day before I took holidays. I still have one week of holidays, so I may make a few small updates more But after that I'll need to study quite a bit. All those names are confusing, like HA, DRS, VMotion, etc. So I guess by September I'll have time to do some more tables, since I hope to be finished with at least the experimenting and learning of the software. I just have a 2 bits brain, so it is one thing at a time , no multitasking, hahaha.

This table was easy to fix, I just wanted to see how those "alpha ramp" flashers looked in one of my tables so I could compare with the old one

JP, your work life sounds mad, and the fact you find time to do any updates is a blessing.

Glad you're not gone for good though, it's not the same without your beardy Smurfy little face popping up here and there

is it just me or are other forum members having problems with the sound ? it crackels when the ball goes into the castle and when you blow up the castle
it's those deep bass type sounds, I never had this trouble with any other version of the same game ?? help

I have the same problems with the sound - sounds like blown speakers.

That is because the rom volume is set to high.
Turn it down to 25 or less and it will sound much better.

mine does the same I got used to it...I think its just the rom.....

which rom are you using ? I am using 1.09C, but I will try the others to see what they do

At what setting are your ROM volumes set ?
I never go above 23 and have no crackling problems.

I have NO SOUND but no idea why! I have downloaded all ROMs and was initially using mm_10 (1.0) so I changed to mm_109, then mm_109b and finally mm_109c but none of them would play any sound.

All other tables I have been able to alter the volume and get sound yet after bumping the volume on this table up to 27 I still get nothing.

What have I done wrong??

try to restart Virtual Pinball, maybe this helps.
