I love the idea of this machine. This looks so much more professional and turnkey than what I've seen on eBay and certainly nicer than anything I could assemble myself. Any plans for a more compact machine (perhaps a 32 inch playfield)?

I was pointed here by a friend here in the Metro Detroit area so if you need any video pin novices to beta test, let me know. I can get you killer 'rassling tickets if that helps, next time I get row 3 Royal Rumble seats I'll be sure to ask you first!
Best,
mp.

Thanks, Mark. Do I know your friend, by chance?

If you want to come over and check out our demo unit, hit me up in a PM, and we can arrange a day and time.

For those of you waiting on the site to open, I've been working my tail off on it. FedEx requires your site to be reviewed prior to opening, and that takes a bit, as well.

I would guess it'll be open Sunday, without FedEx, since the process is longer than I'd like to wait at this point.

To answer some other questions from previous posts, we do have plans to have smaller, more compact units. Things take time to develop, if they are to be done right, so it will probably be a few months before any announcements are made.

Really nice cab.

What did you do different to get the nanotech plunger to work. It seems so many people are having issues with that. Does it work on every game.

Is it possible to get a picture of the inside of the cab. It would be nice to see the lid open and how you got that to work.

thanks

It only works with tables scripted for it to work, if they use images on the plunger. It's plug and play if it's the default plunger and enabled.

I'll have some pics of the cab from every angle on the VirtuaPin site. Still getting it set up.

I'm not sure if you know Mick. I know him from Theatre Bizarre and the Pinball Expo and I hope he doesn't mind me dropping his name.

I'm looking to get something around this time next year (or sooner if all the stars align in my favor) so the wait isn't an issue for me. Especially having seen what you've done, it looks like you're the Apple of pinball sims.

If you have a showing, feel free to send me an email at the address in my account. Otherwise, I'll definitely take you up on the invite when I'm ready to get seriously serious. Perhaps I'll send a letter to the North Pole just in case someone's up there listening.

We cannot pre-install tables or ROMs, but the units ship with Windows XP, our own version of HyperPin, and the latest version of Visual Pinball.

The site, http://virtuapin.net will be open in the next 24 hours. Just finishing up some models. Can't open the site without pictures!

For those wondering, the site's Grand Opening has been delayed a bit, due to the recent hiccup in our service.

It IS ready and will launch when the DNS has propagated for everyone.

Thank you.

Rome wasn't built in a day. I had some connectivity issues today with the DNS.

You'll find out I do nothing half-assed, and this site is no exception. I worked all day on making sure it was accurate and it's just a matter of going over everything one last time, before launch.

Some say I have a bit of an OCD problem.

Decided to open it up and get some feedback.

We offer all that we can for those wanting to build their own or pick up a completed cab.

Feedback and suggestions are welcome.

I'll be adding more pics of the VirtuaPin™ inside and out.

One thing to note is black is currently the only color listed, but we can do any color upon request. I still haven't decided how I want to add the option.

What's your favorite color for a pincab?

Just saw the new site and it looks really fantastic - and such good value too. I can see this being a huge success once the word gets around, so best of luck with the project Noah.

One thing Noah I could not find on the site was shipping costs - will you you ship to Europe as well? Also is the playfield glass supplied with the full kit? Thanks

With the Ultimate Cab Kit, there is no glass. It's best to have the glass made on your end, for shipping reasons.

Currently, the offerings are available only in the US and Canada, for now, until I can work out the details on international shipping.

Color wise I would go with the black - but then again something in a flame red could look pretty cool biggrin.gif

Great website Noah !! Worship.gif

I have a few questions and i'll post them on here in case anyone else has the same questions.

You offer a 47" monitor. Is there an option on the widebody VirtuaPin to upgrade the 42" monitor to the 47" ?
Of course, that's if a 47" would fit in the widebody cabinet or do you have plans for a 47" model in the future that requires a different cabinet ?
If it's an option, how much extra to upgrade to the 47" ?
If it's an option, is there a recommendation on whether to go with a 42" or 47" monitor as far as graphical quality and performance running VP/VPM ?

As far as the 2 Nvidia video cards. What would be the memory size of each card ?
I'd probably prefer to go with two 1GB video cards (or something close to that) to accomodate any future graphical requirements that might be needed.

Any additional info regarding these questions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks !! smile.gif
