I know talented people very anxious to make this one but without the time or patience to redraw it from scratch. Still looking for playfield and plastics scans. After that I guarantee it will happen.

If you find or make a playfield layout - I can probably make a decent redraw for Wiggler.

 

The problem I have had in the past with playfield redraws is I will find a decent image to work from - but cant get the scaling / positioning correct because I don't know exactly how the playfield will lay on the table. I'm dealing with that now with Grand Prix. Made a perfect playfield and plastics - but dont have a schematic to work from to make sure everything is in the right place. Hope this makes sense.

 

Wiggler looks like a fairly straight forward redraw - just need the image stretched and shaped properly / proportionately.

I know some of these lists are fairy old and outdated because many of the the stright forward tables have been converted / redone to VPX.

 

Some of the more complex ones - like 'Banzai Run' and a few others get started but then seem to "stall" and don't get finished.

 

Is there a definitive list somewhere (and I don't mean dozens of old WIP threads) that there is a list of current tables being worked on so there is no cross over and multiple "teams" working on the same projects without know it?

 

I think I only have about 4-5 tables running in VP9 and it seems every few weeks one pops up as a VPX version and I am getting 1 step closer to having no VP9 tables in my cab at all ....

 

A couple I would love to see get a VPX treatment - but can't find any info as to them being done are:

 

Waterworld (Gottlieb)

Riverboat Gambler (Bally)

Playboy (Data East 1989) maybe

 

and a few others.

I wish.  I sold it a few years back.  Very fun table.  Devil's Dare I also sold.  Next to Sinbad one of the best drop target tables ever.   The glowing eyes of the Devil was pretty cool.  I might have some Devil's Dare Plastics laying around.  I bought an extra set but didn't sell it with the table.

BTW Don't know much about making tables but a scan of Devil's Dare might not be needed as the resolution on Devil's Dare VP9 is quite good.  My hat goes off to mfuegemann.  Brava!

 

Also just read this about Apollo on pinside...  "Apollo was the replay version; Blast Off was the add-a-ball version. Lunar Shot was a version of the add-a-ball with modifications to the backglass to conform to Italy's strict anti-gambling laws."

Howdy!, I'm working on an Audio Remaster for the VP9 Scooby Doo table from Spanish phrases Back to English (not modding the playfield just yet). Also am rewriting the DMD for English. I'd like to at least finish and deploy it as a VP9 mod due to my current time constraints, but afterwards looking for someone who can either assist or collaborate with me on the conversion over to VPX. I've not done a 9-10 conversion yet. Thanks all.
