Tomcat Leader, I am also speaking of real life pinballs and not VP tables... I stand by my statement. I hate it when tables are set WAY too sensitive to really play.
Most times, I don't shake the table all that much anyway, so I get REALLY irritated if it tilts on me...

I only nudge to keep it from the outlanes, but some shots are just destined to go there. Suicide shots are the worst. You aim for a target, miss and right in the strike zone. "With..... Da whiff......"
"Compassion hurts. When you feel connected to everything, you also feel responsible for everything. And you cannot turn away. Your destiny is bound with the destinies of others. You must either learn to carry the Universe or be crushed by it. You must grow strong enough to love the world, yet empty enough to sit down at the same table with its worst horrors." - Andrew Boyd

My least favorite tables are the majority of pre 1970's tables. Most 50's and 60's tables are just bad. Other then that I dislike most 1980's pinball tables that have a Space theme. I think only a few of them did it right, and the ones that did do it right are great and some of the best table. Most of them come off as cheesy imo, they have bad art or Not only that but most 80's tables with space themes use the most annoying sound effects. More tables that i dislike more then others are tables with backglasses that have real people on them and not cool artwork. Especially if they are nasty looking women (Laser War for instance another bad space/future theme with hidious bad looking ugly 80's chicks on the backglass) lol... Future/Space theme not done properly CHECK... Ugly women on the backglass nobody would want CHECK.... that table has nothing going for it lol

Anybody mention GTB Genesis yet?
Man that was an ugly ass game! Certainly 80's with its puple ramps (or are they kinda pink, IDK).
I've run into one of these a couple times in real life, & each time the ramps were either glued or taped from a break. One guy just slapped a ton of packing tape on the cracked ramps. & he was trying too sell it! & was asking way too much to begin with. But when I see a pin held together by tape, I tend to put my money away!
Backglass just ugly. Though I agree with sabbat, Laser War is tough to beat out for ugliness. Didn't Bad Girls have a similarly bad BG?
Genesis isn't totally unfun. First few games is OK, however I don't think I'd ever forgive myself if I owned one of these & got stuck with it for a while. I don't see much depth or replayability in it.
Yet, go to IPDB & its rated a 7.7.
To give you an idea, one of the most sold & loved pins of all time, EBD, rates a 7.8 at IPDB. Even George Gomez said this was his #1 fav pin ever next to TAF & he never even worked on it. So you mean to tell me that this crap mid 80's pin Genesis should sit right next to EBD on all time ratings? Huh. Ha! ROFWL!
But early SS pins get dumped on by many people in the ratings because they don't have the "shock & awe" & "toys & gimmicks & ramps" like modern pins have. Pinside.com does the same thing. They made up a modern ratings system that is by default meant to rate modern games higher, giving extra points for things like dmd displays & toys.
When will people learn to rate pins based on when they came out. EBD was king of pinball when it was out. Genesis was at the bottom of its class even for that year, '86, IMHO. Yet, somebody relying on ratings to buy a new pin might get misled by a poor ratings system, buy a Genesis, & expect it to be as good as an all time classic like EBD.
Lastly, Genesis, has no damn flow. If I recall, the one ramp drops into a kicker or something (no return lanes on this pin) which in turn shoots into upper rollovers or something. The other ramp just drops the ball into a crapload of bumpers. Either way you get are getting flow disrupted. But it was something a little different than what we are used to, I can appreciate it for that. The whitewood of this game actually makes it look desireable. It even had metal ramps!
& I would say I was impressed by the creativity & this pin being the first to have that "reveal" window.
But they didn't invent that.
They totally ripped that off from GamePlan & the Nessy pin right after they went under. At least Bally waited a few more years to take that idea for CFTBL!
PF art not horrible on this game, its acceptable.
I guess what I'm saying is that the game is overrated, but always just annoyed me for some reason. Maybe its the pink cheap plastic yelling at me or the midget on the BG giving me the creeps. At best this game is like a 6.8/10. That is like what a Gold Wings is rated, & about how this should be rated too.

After just playing Laser War again.. the graphics on the table aren't as bad as I remember.
Some of my least favorite pinballs also are Card themed tables. There is just way too many of them. It's really gotta be a good looking / pretty table for me to get into a card themed table.

Bally's Playboy left a lot to be and not be desired.....

I figure since we had a thread on our favorite pinball games, how about listing our least favorite games?
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I hated Gorgar. I remember I would go into the bowing alley gameroom and kick the bottom of Gorgar just to shut that damn thing up.

You have discovered an Easter egg. Pat yourself on the back.
