I figure since we had a thread on our favorite pinball games, how about listing our least favorite games? Just don't forget that we still LOVE pinball hehe!

Mine would have to be, gameplay-wise that is, X's and O's, Pokerino, and Millionaire.

I could have been smart, but I never learned anything by being smart!

Popeye saves the earth, Cue Ball Wizard and Waterworld. the last one has no good ball flow, the DEEZ shot is way too easy and the left and right outlanes are way too cheap.

Shaq Attaq, I was board the first time I played it. It found it way too easy to get a replay and get mulitball started. In fact the first time I played it I actually walked away leaving credits on it.

All new VP 9 tables that have hd rendering. I have to turn it off, drop the resolution and the table still plays jerky. I wind up deleting it and reverting back to the VP 8 version.

Gotta ditto on the pre-85 comments. Growing up with pinballs out of the 90's didn't leave me with much love for the older ones.

I never played the older tables before getting into Future Pinball. There is something about the simplicity of the older tables that I really like. I feel that I have way more control of the ball and action on the table on the older machines. For some reason, I prefer analog bells to digital music. Don't get me wrong though.. Some of my favorite tables are DMD machines.

I prefer tables with complex rules. Something about trapping my ball and thinking carefully about my next shot makes me feel like my skill isn't that important and that my brain plays a bigger role.

So yeah, I guess it's because I suck at playing pinball.

Playing the older ones are what help sharpen my skill. On many of them your reflexes have to be quicker and you have to learn to nudge correctly to get decent scores. They also tend to have more things like drop targets, where your aim has to really be on. Not that the newer tables don't have this, but without ramps and modes your left with more skill-type shots and saves. I also love the older sounds - nostalgia from the 80's arcades.

I love the pre-85 tables, especially the ones from the 70's and late 60's. No digital scoring, and really, you needed skill to win on most of the machines. Besides, the ones now, are too involved. Old machines never had a LONG rules sheet.

Too many good old pinball games to dismiss pre-85. Black Knight? Not good? Yeah, disagree completely. Blackout? I mean these are must play pins.

*add Space Shuttle to the list, as it was 84.

How can you say ground-breaking tables such as Flash and Gorgar are not good? Just because they don't have ramps, multiball, toys and deep rule sets does not mean that they are bad tables.
