01/12/2023: Howdy All, Ok well I am back at it again on this table, experimenting with some upgrades to the last version, I'll reach out to Drummer & Hauntfreaks about what I am up to: Here is the summary:
1) Expanding the Audio Song Playback Modes to what I call JUKEBOX MODE. (Sequential or Random Playback of the 15 audio tracks)
2) May add 2 more audio modes (Silence = No Music & LP a variable based number of music tracks from your own favorite LP, CD or whatever is common these days)
3) Enhancing some of the general audio ambience of the game for what makes sense for a party/bar table like this (crowd noise, sound effects, and so on you would expect in a bar)
4) Adding my original "BEER MODE" code to it to trap the ball with flippers UP while you go grab another beer.
5) Adding my DOF Modular Tesing routine to test the basic DOF triggers that could be occurring in the game.
6) Reviewing the scorning routines, not 100% sure if the 200 point routines are triggering correctly.
7) May convert the DOF calls from literals to variables, like I did in Scooby Doo 2022 making the DOF management very modular and flexible for a variety of DOF control boards.
8) Adding special KEY COMMANDS to cycle through the audio tracks (Sequential and Random) Left Magna/CTRL & Right Magna/CTRL Respectively)
9) Adding key command for "Favorite Song". You get to pick all the songs 1-15 but my picks are 70's centric and feel right for the game, the time and the artwork.
10) Adding key command to STOP all music in case your ears start to hurt.
Before I get too far into I will reach out to JP and inquire if he has this table on his horizon for a 4.0.0 physics update. If so I may wait for him to make the first move, then I'd retrofit my changes in after that upgrade OR simply collaborate with him directly if he is willing to adopt my code into his.
This is a really fun table and make you focus on how you will achieve your points. It looks simple but does require some deliberate effort -mrjcrane.
