Adjusted the POV and exported it like I did with all previous tables. Now tables all load tiny and behind the editor. I have to minimize editor to get to the table and no matter what settings I select, it is not corrected. I have just uninstalled VP and will try reinstalling it again. I'm running VP10.7

Romo .POV files should work for you, I took advice from Wies on that. I load the table for the first time then shape the camera perspective. Dont save the table at that point but save the POV file. Sometimes B2S can be set to find exact matched name for the B2S file or use a partial match. Not sure if that is in play for you but if the .pov file is named the exact same thing as your table .vpx file it should work. I like table specific POV files rather than a global POV default as each table is designed and presents differently.

I am on SAM build 3.3 of VpinMame, Flex v1.8, Freezy 1.8.2. everything in that combo works fine and I have vertically oriented pincab, portait OS 1080x1920 dimensions.

Yes, I use specific .POV files for every table after I adjust them as they are different. I just have a single portrait display. I set up the DMD or score displays on apron or below. For some reason, my POV's are no longer working when I load a table.

ScreenRes.txt link downloads the 'VPX Single Screen Desktop Mode All on One Screen Layout (1920x1080)' file

My display is 2560 x 1440 in portrait mode

Also, the last file you gave me was the.. 'vertical rotated single screen.reg

OK, you made me three files for my single screen 2560 x1440 display for portrait orientation. See post #20 this thread.

- ScreenRes.txt

- vertical rotated single screen.reg

- autopov.pov

I still have vertical rotated single screen.reg and autopov.pov

But the ScreenRes.txt is gone. I don't know what happened to it and I don't have that zip file any longer. Sorry.

Not sure if this explains why my custom POV for each table no longer work? They all worked before. I had them all in the table folder with the tables and B2S all named the same. Now when I load a table, it comes up in a tiny window behind editor and even if I import the POV I made, it doesn't work.

I do not display the back glass. I only have table with DMD or score displays on apron or below. I edit all this and export the POV. I actually had 46 tables all set up and working through Pinball Y perfectly complete with table capture videos and wheel art. I upgraded to VPX 10.7 for the latest tables and these ran great too.

OK,

Everything is still coming up in a small window (wrong resolution) and the only way my correct display resolution appears in Video/Graphics options list is if I'm in Forced Exclusive Full Screen mode. It is not available in the list of resolutions when not in this mode, but the correct display res of 1440x2560 does show up under 'Display' field. So its using the wrong resolution when not in Forced Exclusive Full Screen mode and the correct 1440x2560 is not available to select. Is this a messed up video driver?

I have to get some sleep now, but I'll download and reinstall the video driver later.

No, that part is an issue with the beta, that we reported

I assume you have windows in portrait mode yes?

the reg file i gave you before, along with the screenres.txt and the autopov should result in a portrait oriented playfield with the b2s backglass above it

on the same screen

and you can redownload it if you dont have it any more

https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing

Is that not what you want any more?

You can try this

https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing

that will do what you say you are trying to do now, which is not what you said you were trying to do before

"that will do what you say you are trying to do now, which is not what you said you were trying to do before"

Yes it is?  You're referring to the discussion we had last night about displaying everything including back box on a large 55" display. Something I'm still considering. A different discussion on a different thread. This is about doing it on my 27 inch display without the back glass visible.

My windows is in portrait Flipped (because my monitor mount only rotates in that one direction)

I still want it the way I had it before. Single screen portrait with no back glass (I hide it) and either internal or external DMD, or the back glass score displays which I move to the apron or below with editor.

** I sometimes use the internal DMD because the external DMD is messed up on some tables.

OK, the 2k portrait mode reg is correct resolution. But I had to change the X/Y Rotation in the autopov.pov from 270 to 0 under desktop/fullscreen.

Yes if OS is flipped, then POV must be unflipped

(or flipped 270, depending on which way your screen rotates, which you dont always have a choice in)

I'm curious as to why you need the resolution defined under the '2k portrait mode reg' when the resolution is selected in the video settings? I thought that was just to get everything in the ball park position for easy adjusting.

Because in the beta, it currently has a bug where it can't see the right resolutions when OS is in portrait and VPX is not in exclusive full screen

The reg file that i just gave you today is just a work around

it isnt supposed to be that way

Waiting on Toxie and Fuzzel to look into that part

It lets VPX have exclusive full control of the display and what the video card is doing with it

so it does not have to share with anything else

and hence not a damned thing will display over the top of it.

It can increase performance, especially if conflicting needs are causing ball stutters etc

but that is not always the case

I'm too lazy to read through this, but I run all portrait.  Pinup Popper was a brute to setup in it's early phases, but I can't image how anyone wouldn't want to run Portrait.  It's so damn classy and looks 'right'.  Feel free to reach out if you have questions.
