Well, when I first set the x/y to 0 then turned the dmd back on, it seemed like it was working in fx3 but when I went back in, the dmd now shows on the friggin playfield again and I'm back to square one. this is killing me. God forbid if I could get any help from zen. If I could just figure out how to get the dmd to not take control instead of the playfield, I would be good, but no, it seems like an impossible task. Im sorry to sound so frustrated but this has taken up way more of my time than I have and I'm just over it.

yea I know it can be frustrating but it's something simple you not doing. did the follow the guide word for word in popper? like In FX3 cabinet settings you must set your DMD size to 520 width and 136 height. THIS MUST BE DONE IN FX3 SETTINGS (not pinup), and setting must be 520×136 no other resolutions.

It works for everyone else read this and go over each step.

Yes I followed that guide. But like I said earlier I really don't think my issue has anything to do with popper or pup dmd. The dmd in fx3 run outside of popper continues to hijack my ability to control my table. Until I can get that resolved popper won't work either. I have it set to the mentioned sizes and borderless window. It seems like the borderless window option is the only option where this control issue happens. But it was not happening when I first enabled it. Your link says to place the fx3 dmd behind the playfield or on the dmd monitor but it does not say how you do that. It just wants to display in front and steal control but only in borderless window mode. I may just try uninstalling steam and doing a clean install to see what happens.

If you are using windows 10 Do you have things running using as admin?

Yea don't run steam or fx as admin

You will not believe this, but uninstalling the steam client then re-instaling steam and Fx3 resolved my issue! No clue why since when I went back in to fx3, my settings were still intact so I basically didn't have to change anything. The pupdmd works perfectly and the fx3 dmd is gone! no issues with controls. I must have jacked something up somehow but I guess I will never know and frankly I don't care as long as it works. lol. Now onto my next adventures. still working out what my options are with my custom dmd images (hoping to get some feedback in other thread I posted.) thanks for your help all. that was an odd one.

just realized the BG is not loading now. I need to remind myself how to get the B2S working again. I hope adding that back doesn't break it. ugh!

you can have popper just leave the videos playing when you launch the game. the b2s dont really do anything special anyway.

OK so it appears that the fx3 B2s via DOFlinx is what is hihacking the control. As soon as I started doflinx which runs the b2s, I had the darn issue again. I need to read up on the doflinx manual. There is apparently a setting related to fx3 focus or something. If I shut doflinx off this doesn't happen since the B2s dn load. at least I know where the source of the problem is now. just need to figure it out. I will post an update when resolved (hopefully) please if someone knows how to fix this in the ini file for doflinx please let me know.

BINGO! finally go this figured out! All I had to do was add the following line in the doflinx.ini file:

 

FX3_FOCUS=0

 

OMG, that little teensy line was all I needed. sheesh! LMAO! ("I love it when a plan comes together")

Is it possible to setup the screen size individual for each game? Or at least setup popper to different size vs player?

 

I have a three screen setup and would like TNA to use the entire 3rd screen for the topper vs only partial.

 

I would also like popper to use the full screen for toppers
