Could one of you try maybe selecting the LFire1 and or LPower2 and raise the "Halo height" too 1?

I'm getting a similar thing on my low power work computer, GT1030 graphics. Not sure what is causing the issue but it seems to be something with the overlapping lights on the inserts.  playing with the depth bias on any of them changes the behavior, but I have not yet found a way to get all of them lit at once.  I'm not surprised when this computer does weird light/graphics things, but I wouldn't expect that on CyclonePF's gtx 1080.

I don't think it's a bias issue nor do I believe it's a GPU issue. I'm running on a 12 year old 660TI but with an i7 CPU.

I just checked another table with overlapping insert lights setup the same way and get the same behavior (Darling over on vpinball).  So I don't think it's your table necessarily.  I'm also on 10.6 beta, but reloaded 10.5 and get the same behavior there, which I did not with Darling before.  I wonder if nvidea drivers had something to do with it... On Darling I can see it light one of the lights briefly then overwrite with the other.

I bet if you raised one of them since they are basically occupying the same space it will solve the issue, just a guess.

Halo height is grayed out since bulb is not enabled.

That's weird because those settings should only be enabled and have any effect if bulb is enabled.

I did notice that some of them have pass through checked and some don't, but it doesn't seem to make a difference on whether it works or not.

Here is my video options.

Other than updating to the latest vpx beta (10.6) is there a way to remove the version warning message that pops up before the table loads?

It appears to play just fine on the latest stable vpx build but the warning keeps it from working properly with the pinballx fe.

This is my first vpin cab and I just got everything dialed in and running perfect, I would prefer to just leave it be for a while and enjoy it.  ;)

Thank you.

Sorry I'm on a cell phone. Lol

I have both settings set to 1, so must be something else.

Edit BorgDog was faster :)

If something has not changed, the overlapping insert lights should not work properly.

Thank you, really a nice table.

I'm also seeing not fully lit. I'm on almost 2 years old nVidia drivers and 1080. Latest beta though. By now, maybe it is odd that the author isn't seeing the same as the rest ?

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

It's an old command called "lightstateon" and "lightstateoff" that is causing the issue I believe. Should be changed to .state=1 or. State=0

no effect, and if that was it it would effect everyone.  do the darling lights work right for you?  ie do you see two bulbs in the big insert, you need to start a game before it shows them.

Just went back to some old VPX - 10.4 final, as a random test gives correct light here now.

-- more checks 3448 ( beta 5 has this problem )

-- 3434 hasn't

Might be more versions in between ... just is just leftovers I haven't deleted yet. Downloading 3441 now.

Update : 3441 is the last one to work with complete lights, 3448 is broken - for me that is.

I've sent a heads up to the devs with a link here.

I’m playing in DT mode & using an older quad core AMD CPU with a GTX 750Ti SC video card.

Both halves of the Red light up and both halves of the Blue light up. I played a bunch of games but unfortunately haven’t been lucky enough to get both Red & Blue lit at the same time.

I’m using VPX 10.5 but using the core.vbs from VPX 10.6 beta. I had a flipper issue with another table that was built with VPX 10.6 beta. Thalamus suggested downloading 10.6 beta & just replacing the core.vbs in the scripts folder if I didn’t want use 10.6 beta yet. And that worked for me. Maybe something like that will work for Firepower.

I don't know if the table itself used stuff that requires anything higher than my finding ( just started it -didn't play ) - but, it would be nice if more people could confirm that there is a difference to the light between those releases I've mentioned. You only need to go to vpinball https://www.vpinball...px-beta-builds/ and download from the menu, beta5 and select the versions mentioned. Don't overwrite vpinball.exe, extract it to c:\temp or something - then, rename the vpinball.exe inside - like vpinball_<version>.exe or something and put ONLY the *.exe into you vpinball folder. Of course - double clicking the table will not work. But, open via file menu should.

I get the same findings as Thalamus, ver5beta3441 works, 3448 does not.  3441 also works using all the newer files from latest .6beta with only the exe from 3441.  Darling also works on 3441.
