Same here, not working with 10.6 lastest updates.

 

Not sure why, but the new tables are doing this

But, they work great in 10.7
have not been using 10.6, so had to go open an instance of it to see.

tried swapping out the images, no dice

 

tried swapping out the materials

showed material, no image

can see images in image manager fine though

 

looked at table properties

didnt see anything that came to mind

 

unable to show any images in the editor too

 

in 10.6

In 10.7 it works fine

 

not sure though as i can make a table in 10.7 and it works in 10.6 fine
probably some simple table setting i am missing

Very simple
Download 10.7 beta

unzip to a temporary folder

rename VPinballX.exe to VPinballX 10.7 Beta.exe

 

Ok now go ahead and copy everything from your temporary folder to your visual pinball folder

when it is done, you will have VP8 still, VP9 still VP 10.6 still AND VP 10.7
and i have personally yet to see a table that does not work on.

 

Now go try out the new tables in 10.7
And for that matter, go and try the tables that someone told you wont work also.

Curious which tables these are?

Everything working fine under 10.7 beta :) but not under 10.6 (!?), all the textures are there, but they are not showing. I'll take a look and I'll upload the table again, saved with 10.6 :)

Works perfect with 10.6 and in VR.

Not sure how I did it, but I somehow managed to get my flippers stuck. The lower left flipper was stuck in the up position and my flipper buttons were controlling the upper playfield flippers. When I started a new game, they remained stuck like that. The lower left flipper was stuck in the up position and when I hit the flipper buttons, the upper playfield flippers are what moved, even though it was a new game and the ball was on the lower playfield.

 

I'm not entirely sure what precipitated this. I think I had my last ball briefly on the upper playfield, I'm not sure I even had time to trigger the upper flippers. Then the ball quickly rolled down to the lower playfield and out. It happened really fast and I didn't realize there was a problem until it was over, so I'm reconstructing this from memory as best I can.

I would guess that the ROM spazzed out, as game over should have reset the solenoid regardless of what you did previously.
