SLAM is back and FP or VPX discussions aside the fact is he develops great tables and I for one hope the new physics scripting in FP make his new releases worth it .

I played those but every cab demo I saw had Slamt1lt's table and comments I was reading here and there said it was the best, hence my need to try it. Right now I'm sticking with the Zedpinball Physics 1.11 version. If anyone knows of a better one or where I can get Slamt1lt's version I'd love to hear it. Thanks!

Edit: Ended up playing the Luci VPX version. Just picked my jaw up off the floor.

SLAM's girlfriend was diagnosed with cancer, so that's why he's been silent for a long time, as that is where his focus and energy is right now guys.

He rarely corresponds much at all. This was an email after a long silence.

 

He did say she was getting better, and that at some point he wants to get back into it again.

 

I told him... family first...and always. Don't worry about us.

 

If he ever has time or desire to come back, we will all be waiting.

Slam is working on Indiana Jones currently

​I take a few months off and the whole world is in panic.  But fear not, because Slam is back!

 

In reality, a severe illness in my family caused my absence, which is still on going.  I needed time away because I simply didn't have the motivation to continue making pinball games.  The past few months have been very hard but I'm finding my way back now.

 

Today, like everyone else, I'm self-isolating to protect my family from the Coronavirus - a threat we should all take very seriously.  And with all this free time I can start working on my games again.

 

 So for the past 2 weeks I've been working on my long awaited Indiana Jones (Stern) ULTIMATE Pro edition, which will be the next game I release.  I'm making excellent progress but there's still a lot of work to do - the game is HUGE!  So I may release it early and unfinished and then add updates later as....well.....Stern do with all their games.

 

​Then I have STTNG, Bladerunner, Batman, Spider-man, Transformers and so many more games to finish and release.  Plus, more updates and improvements to all my current releases.

 

I know times are tough for all of us right now, so please keep yourself and your family safe.  Honestly, nothing else in this world matters more.

Indiana Jones Ultimate Pro is amazing...

 

 

This table is not only an amazing table (nothing like the original Stern except for the layout)... but it's visually stunning in VR.

 

The lighting... the textures... the models... the bump mapping... the sounds and music... the movie screen on the playfield... the animated torches... the glowing crystal skull... the transparent ramps... the friggin light shows... the many game modes from the movies (the opening of the ark and the mine cart chase are wow!) and it "plays" excellent in VR!

 

Unlike rom based tables... there's no limit to these tables in FP... and SLAM is adding so much more to the table each day... and there will be more content in the future. So much potential!

 

The first thing you do with this table is change the reflection (in the editor's main table options) to almost max. WOW!

 

... and it plays great. Really fun.

 

Read the rules SLAM puts in the table script or his site, as they get updated with more modes and content with each update.... and don't forget about the ACTION / FIRE button (usually Special 1 key/button) that is very useful.

 

Ever since GLXB and Highlander00 start this table many years back I always wanted this version of table.

 

Take a look at this beauty!

Star Wars day coming up - May the 4th. I actually missed Alien day - April 21st, but who gives a shit right?

I'm working on a special update to my Star Wars DSA game, adding extra toys, new textures and tweaking the gameplay, which is already at the very highest level, so I can squeeze out just a ittle more excitement.

No doubt if you're a sad Star Wars fan like myself and you're quarantined in your house, that you'll be watching the original trilogy again on May 4th...or simply playing a bunch of Star Wars pinball games.

I'm also releasing an update to Gimli's and Wild's excellent mod which features a special appearence by BB-8, as well as some great animated toys.

And If I have time I may release my Star Wars Rebel Assualt game, which is the Dark side alternative to Death Star Assault, where you play as the Empire, but that game is very old and needs a lot of work, so we shall see.

So lot's to look forward to Monday."

Sounds like he exhausted himself and is taking a break again...my daughter works in the film industry and they work so intensely to release the show on deadline and then its all over in an instant....waiting for the court of public opinion to adjudicate. It can be a big letdown emotionally.
