UW, maybe comment out the flipper stuff so people can see how to "upgrade" flippers to use less delay, Thanks for an update to a really great looking table.  One of my girlfriends favorite

Got a ball stuck in the "Fish Bone Us" pushback target today. Never happened before. Wasn't able to nudge it out. Rare occurrence. I've played this table a ton.

Updated to version 1.1

Added flipper lag code
Dark fixed fish ramp to be more accurate for post placement.

Fixed ball stuck issue by upper gate.

Is there a way to see who reports a file as broken.

This file is showing as reported broken and the reason is broke.
What does that mean?

Had a chance to play this some today. I've seen some really nice tables lately from all the talented authors. Others have commented similarly already about the quality of graphics. I have to say, this has to be one of the most realistic looking tables. I totally get a sense of 3D. Great shading. Great everything! Thanks to all who contributed.  :otvclap:

Unclewilly. The file is not broken. I think files get reported as broken because some take too long to download it after the initial clicks or click back.

One of the many great things about VPX is the ability to adjust the brightness of the table. It's nice being able to change the lighting from playing during the "day" to the look of playing in a dark arcade. Fun times.

Really a great looking table! I especially like the colored inserts for the lights on the playfield. Are these specific for the table or can they be used by anyone (me...)? Where can I find these or can they be shared?

Yeah flupper, clark is the one who made the crisp graphics for this. He really made the table shine

I'll give it a look. I have an update. Adding the flipper lag fix.
As well as a model fix by dark.
I need to find the table dark sent me.
Hope to have it up by next week

UW,

Will you please link me to the "official" script fix to address the flipper lag issue. I will add it to BOP.

Thanks

This was from toxie to me
From my understanding:

For every machine that has some kind of tilt solenoid or similar, use the de-coupled VP flippers, e.g. no roundtrip VP<->VPM, but directly wired to the key input,
see here for the machines: http://www.vpforums....=36111&p=360623
and here for the code: http://www.vpforums....=36111&p=360658
and use the solenoid to en/disable the VP flippers.

If this is not the case for the machine in question, then there is a reasonably simple workaround to disable the VP-flippers (with some minor caveats)
by Knorr here: http://www.vpforums....=36111&p=360571

This file is showing as reported broken and the reason is broke.
What does that mean?

This usually means that the file is not available for download as of yet, that it still has to be approved by one of the admins before it is available.

I have the same issue whenever I upload a revision to my spreadsheet of emulated tables with links to tutorials.  I can download the revision but since it hasn't been approved yet it is not available for forum members to download.

Is it possible to upload the same table without flipper lag fix?

I could certainly do that. Or possibly add it as a script option.
I'll do that next week.

If you are playing on a computer monitor it isn't necessary, especially after the recent VPX update.  I'm also not sure it's done being tweaked out, but I could be wrong about that.  There were some problems with it on specific tables.  So, if it were available as an option some people may choose to just leave it off.

I have to totally agree with Vizzini.  This is one incredible table UW, really a VPX masterpiece.  It plays soooo well and looks so much like a real machine.   Thanks so much as I do NOT have to get this real machine now.  You my sir are a table master, please take a bow.

On 1.1 my first ball got stuck somewhere after the initial plunge.  I didn't see this on 1.0.

*edit*  Only happened one time so far.

*edit*  Also... it looks like the GI isn't on?

*edit*  Restarted and I definitely have GI now... not sure what happened there... please disregard.  Thanks.

Since I do not play on a real machine and got used to the fact that the flipper has a slight lag (not notice it;). With this fix I feel the game little strange particularly as previously I played another table without the fix. When the fix becomes the standard and each table will behave the same way then of course I will be play on an improved version ;)
