Hi JP, I got back from vacation today and finally got a chance to play your new release and compare it to my BK machine. It is spot on in many ways. I mean that the ball interacts with the flippers the same as my table. In a subjective way, your table gives off the same personality as the real thing. I also get similar scores as my real BK machine; that says a lot about how realistic you have made the game play, because some of the VMs I play, I get unrealstically high scores where you know it just ain't right.
The only thing I observe is that the ball rolls significantly faster on your playfield than my machine. I guess I could study how to adjust playfield friction and keep quiet, but I thought you might find the feedback helpfull from someone who has the actual machine.
Lastly, I adjusted the brightness slider all the way down to the left to the lowest setting. I love it when the playfield is dark and only illuminated by the game's lighting.
Anyway, it is a sweet table and I thank you. What a nice surprise. Thanks!
Might that just be slope? How high your leg risers are etc - anyway to compare angle of playfield? Whats VP normally around 6deg.

This is not a big deal but if you still update the table in the future... when the ball was shot to the bonus multiplier horseshoe from the wrong way it often drained it. It was a "dangerous shot" on the real table. You implemented that on your VP9 table back in the day. It's not present on this version. No big deal and definitely not worth another update but probably an easy fix with some small wall adjustment.
I drawed this drunk but you get the idea.

Thanks for the latest update JP, this really is a phenomenal recreation. Combined with "UseSolenoids=2" fast flips this table plays better than ever. Finally beat that elusive 2.5M, and had a blast doing it! Highly recommended!

Someone could explain to me whats the difference between Const UseSolenoids = 1 and Const UseSolenoids = 2 ?
Thanks ...

Its a new thing from 10.4 Final which uses FastFlips which I think bypasses normal VPinMAME solenoid calls. This should reduce input lag which should make for a better pinball simulation. Just started playing with this myself. Seems too good to be true when it works, but I think this is a major game changer.

Thanks Slydog... i know fastflips already; but didn´t know they are activated by "UseSolenoids = 2" ...
All i know that tables could be modified with the fast flips script; thats what i habe done to some tables.

And I spend a lot of time adjusting that ball guide so it doesn't drain, hahaha. I thought it was wrong that the ball drained so easily
I can fix that.

It doesn't always drain. But when it comes with a higher speed it's a dangerous shot.
That horseshoe should be a bit tighter that way (wrong way) too... now it's a bit too wide and easy to get into I think. I try to find some video reference material. It's been a while since I played the real one. About 5-6 years.
Also both left target rows (upper and lower) should be a bit easier to hit. Now they're quite challenging and you can't really aim them with your right flipper(s). No idea what could help it though. Hmm...
And I was wrong... those upper playfield rubbers are quite damn elastic. But they're pretty much correct on your version.
Other than the horseshoe loop and left upper targets it plays really, really nicely. Game speed is pretty much authentic... ball lock is easy (as it should be) and the upper left flipper shot to the ball lock is spot on.
Here's one video.
In about 3:00 you see how the ball comes "wrong way" from the horseshoe loop. It doesn't drain this time but it comes straight to center.
PS: Shouldn't there be a "RING" when you put the coin on? I think yes. You could also add that great upper playfield gate sound (when ball comes from plunger) from your VP9 version.

Hi JP,
I have a full set of Black Knight plastics from Classic Playfields and I'm pretty sure I have the missing plastic from the screenshot below:
I can scan it at work on Monday if you want it for both Black Knight and Cavaliero Negro if you wish.
Best Regards,
