I was just wondering about something.  Ever since I got the installer version of VPX, I have been getting some pretty poor frame rates on some tables.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Also, on two tables so far I am getting an error with "aFlip1.Speed".  Can anyone help me with this?  The table I just experienced this on was Magic Castle.

that aFlip1 error is a script issue... is it possible the auto installer didn't install the VBS scripts? Can you manually add them from the standalone install?

I have seen other reports of this error and I am experiencing it as well.  I tried the reboot as recommended with no luck.  Any recommendations to solve this issue?

Thanks for this. I'd like to report a problem installing on Windows 7 64 bit. There is a missing component msstdfmt.dll which is required by pinmame. I solved the problem by following these instructions. Note the requirement for administrator privilege, I missed that at first and the dll wouldn't register.

You all have really done a great job with this! I don't think you could have made it any easier for even the beginners to get everything installed and ready for pinball action!!

I restore my computer to factory settings weekly, so this AIO installer really comes in handy for me!!

Is there any way you can add the UVP server program to this All-in-One installer?

I have never been able to get UVP to work properly myself. I know it has been rendered almost obsolete thanks to the dB2S backglass program, but it still would be nice to try them out.

dont know if this is where this should be posted.....

if you use a material that's only being used as part of the bumper... it shows up as not in uses in the materials manager
I found this while doing a materials clean up... after the clean up I noticed the materials missing for the bumper components

Make sure to get the latest build from him.  The one he posted a year ago has a bug that breaks B2S DMD positioning.    He fixed it but I never got the updated code from him.

one other aspect:

due to compatibility with my cab-pc (running with VPX.2, but all manually installed) I used the VPX.2 all in one installer for a new set up of my lab-pc. After trouble shooting with Michael Fügemann's support it was determined that this installer contains the obsolete PinMAME 2.6! So if you will use this installer for any reason, be aware of this issue.

The VPX4setup located in same download area as VPX.2setup, has the PinMAME 3.0 added in All-In-One Installer.

If you have used the older one that installs 2.6 PinMAME version, you can simply download the PinMAME 3.0 standalone, and overwrite the older PinMAME.

PinMAME 3.0 Stand Alone found here...

http://www.vpforums....&showfile=11571

So even if you can only use the older version of VPX2, you can still update to the newest PinMAME 3.0.

Simply copy the contents into where you installed your Visual Pinball, overwrite when asked,(This is how you will know if you copied to correct folder.)

Then run Setup.exe as if you are installing your PinMAME again, and just make sure the paths are correct.

Volia, you now have upgraded PinMAME version on your old setup of VPX2.

Hi toxie,

Good job this new installer :otvclap:.

I encountered issues with my DMD. It seems that the installed dmddevice.dll and dmddevice64.dll do not work. Needed to replace them to get my dmd working.

Thanks for the hard work !

Regards,

Egon.

2 things
1 - We do not have A VPX61setup.zip  for the all-in-one installer
2 - Every once in a while somebody will post that there UltraDMD does not work after using the All-in-one (almost) installer

Is this the version that's in the all-in-one installer?  –UltraDMD version 1.4.16050500
