@ironlung: Many data east tables will launch the ball if you hit both flippers at the same time.

Love the table. I changed the lighting so that I could see the ball better, but it kills the effect of the lighting. So I looked into importing the ball as mentioned in post #31. I don't think I did it correctly however. When I go to the editor and see the ball menu , I see a drop down menu where I selected the chrome-silver ball. It indeed makes it easier to see but I am seeing a black box around the ball. I suspect that it might be because I didn't "import" it. How exactly do I "import" the ball? Thanks

When you open the table in Visual Pinball editor, go to the top and click "Table" then select "Image Manager" in that list, scroll down to find "wwfball" and click it once. On the right side select "Reimport From" and search for where you saved my ball image from earlier in this thread.  Then press OK and go File > Save so you don't lose this work. Now play the game!

Open images/preferences from VP, export whatever ball you want from a table to the desktop. Name the exported ball (what Shocka said to wwfball) and back in VP select wwfball in the images list and click reimport from, find your file on the desktop and select the new/ball image file (click yes when asked), then over to the right click on transparency, form the color picker click black or a darker gray, then OK ( I assume you're using a silver ball). I used the green ball from the Viper night drivn' table (I change the transparency to neon green for the green ball), works like a charm. Meh, I can fix most problems/issues. Yesterday I fixed many issues in the X-Men and Avengers tables (scripts/plungers/ramps/ball issues/B2S problems/990 .dll updates/roms/flipper and bumper problems and the list goes on and on), plus tons of other pins, it becomes kind of a habit. I spent about 3 or 4 hours yesterday fixing those two Stern tables, issues that wouldn't even let the tables start.

Another fantastic release!  Thank you.  For some reason, this table doesn't seem to want to start in Hyperpin.  All of my other tables start fine.  The rendering table image goes away, as if it is about to start the table, but it never appears.  I don't hear the table in the background either.  I can still press the hyperpin menu button and exit back to hyperpin.  I'm guessing I probably entered something funky in the hyperpin database, but thought I'd mention it to see if anyone else had this issue.

Maybe the filename is too long? Change the name of the table, not sure though I don't use hyperpin

That's what I'm saying--I don't think I really imported. That's what I need to know how to do. When I selected the chrome-silver ball I did it through "options"/"ball"/"ball  image"and then used the drop down menu to select the chrome-silver. I don't see the 8osf5ve in that menu, so I'm thinking I'm not really importing. Thanks

Great table! Thanks for the work bringing this table to life. Cant wait for the fix on the left ramp not registering and the ball getting stuck at the top. Is there a problem with getting the extra ball too? Maybe Im just not making the shot

extra ball on the left trough shot? had no issues for me, is it not registering for you?

the mystery ball shot I hear is hard, but you got the right side kicker hole to get that too

Well page 3 and we're still talking balls, I'll submit my update tonight, see if I can fix one last thing real quick. I added new pop bumper images and new flipper images (as seen in a previous screenshot a page back) that will include the brighter ball by default. Maybe some sound changes, I don't like the pop bumper sounds. Need more OOMPH. Who's got good pop bumper audio?

Maybe ball rolling sound, too :)

If its the left hole next to the ramp then no Ive never got the extra ball. Maybe its bad play but  Im almost positive ive hit it after saying extra ball lit.

Sorry---I didn't see the responses . So--I copied the image Fren put up to my desktop and imported it as you suggested. I'm still seeing that black box surrounding the ball though

ball rolling sounds and ball ramp sounds add a lot to the feel to make it more real i think

You did not do it right, then. If you are using the {chrome-silver] texture or similar then you'll get the black edges. Those are for sphere maps. Choose the .PNG i uploaded, and make sure your ball in the editor on the right side is that image. There can not be black edges because it is a .PNG with transparency, so it's impossible, graphically speaking.

Could be something dumb, like missing the switch, I'm known to miss these switches as I debug. I know I changed that hole quite a bit so I likely never re-enabled it. I'll include it in tonights update.

Thanks Fren for your patience. I did go back to your post and copied the image you posted. When I imported it from the desktop, it does indeed look like the correct ball. In the editor it shows the ball in a white box. This stuff is so frustrating to me. I'm no programmer, but I'm not a beginner with computer either. Don't understand why I could be doing wrong

I think there's something you could be working on, but maybe in this case it's more than meets the eye.
