I'm curious about the "whirlpool" above the right flipper. When I get multiball, the ball does not spin around in the whirlpool like it does on the other 2 versions I have of this table. Do the other tables not "have it right"? Or is something wrong with this version?

KISS skill shot not working and whirlpool gate not opening here also. Great table otherwise. Nice job!!

To clarify - when you start a game - you will notice that the KISS lights on the playfield are illuminating one at a time until all are lite up - if you send the ball all the way around the playfield with the ball shooter to time it hitting the KISS switch - you achieve that level of KISS - 1, 2, 3, or all four lights,  instead of having to hit the KISS shot four times during regular play. - I hope that makes sense Melon - as you said you were not that clear on the rules. For the whirlpool - during multiball it should open that gate so the ball goes down to the whirlpool and you collect bonuses for each time it spins around the whirlpool.

Glad u replied to this. I wasn't sure if this was not right or if the other versions had it wrong. My gut was telling me that the ball was supposed to fo round and round for a whilei

Thank you! That makes sense. Maybe there is a missing switch or something.

About the whirlpool, I really don't know what happens, because if you do the ramp test manually it works!

Does anyone know if Creature uses a rollover switch or maybe a switch on the gate for the Kiss skill shot? I'm looking for a manual. Thanks!

Hi Melon, I found these two references in the manual. Looks like there is a "top left roll over" that may be missing or not implemented in the script correctly. I wish i knew more about VP to fix this and i wouldn't bother you. I have no idea about the whirlpool not working in multiball. Anyone??

Finally found it!!!!!!!!

I'll upload a new version tomorrow, I still have to fix 2 little things I've seen.

Yeah, the rollover switch was there. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it wasn't working in Scapino and UW first version. It does work in the mods that were made after.

It's strange, because if you look at the switch matrix in the tests menu, switch 15 is inverted (it's closed, but when the ball hits it opens), so a VPMTimer.PulseSw 15 wasn't working (it was working with the other rollover switches, but not with this one, that's why I have been completly lost!)

Melon if you would also consider adding the 'admit one' film ticket on the backwall it would be much appreciated.

You can see it working in UW's version. Basically it lights up once FILM has been spelt. You can also see it as item 18' page 2-40 of the manual.

Cheers for your work! :drinks:

I tried to fix the sw15 issue myselve by comparing with the Desktop Release 1.01 ...with no success :-(   I found no differeces in the sw15 settings in both versions, only in the script. So I copy / pasted the sw15 lines but this didn't fix it :-(

Maybe someone can post a little howto ?

(I think melon should keep attention on TZ, to I dit'n want to abuse with another  "When will the Fix for the FS-Version released..??.")

See Yea.....Jas

I tried to copy the script from the updated desktop version over to the FS version and I got an error for line 110. I just commented it out and the game works up to the point of multiball and then it errors out again. I'm sure it has to do with the fix Melon implemented for the whirlpool. I wish I knew more so i could fix it but it is fun trying. lol Maybe someone else who is more knowledgeable could help us out without bothering Melon and his fine work.

Well, updated the table to 1.0.1:

Kiss skill shot now works (inverted switch 15)
Left hole entrance improved.
Moving ramp issue solved. Now you can shoot the pool during multiball.
Increased bumper strenght.
Wire ramp upgraded.
Plastic texture for the ramps changed to something more visible.

Enjoy ;)

Funny.

I tried to download this last night and thought it was strange I could not locate the updated file.

Now I know why.

Thanks for the update.

"I found the bumper hit and flipper up sounds to be too quiet, so I replaced them with the CenterBumper sound from the earlier table version and flipper up sound from Atlantis... although this is entirely subjective preference of course."

I agree they are to weak.   They are on a lot of tables.  but other than that this table is phenomenal.
