Final LP version totally smooth for me Unclewilly.

Since it looks same for my eye than this i am more than happy :)

I see you changed the playfield lights since the last beta i got , and now the texts are clearly visible.

Amazing job, top quality :)

And i will play this one for years my friend :)

For those who have stutter with LP version i repeat my suggestion: Change vsync from 0 to 1(or 1 to 0 i dont remember) in Visual Pinball Video settings.

That solved the problem for me and now totally smooth with 660ti 2gb video card in 1680*1050.

I appreciate all the hard work that has gone into this,But I can`t get either version to load, just get texture errors & vp crashes (latest version).

Strange because I can play Circus Voltaire Platinum with no stutter on multiball mode as well.

Cv platinum has I believe 1 dynamic/moving model. This table has 5 on the low poly version and quite a bit more on the high poly version.
So I'm not really sure what to say.

I designed the table to look as good as possible and still play on my system.
I don't have a cabinet so I play on one screen rotated on a wall mount right now.
The high poly table plays smooth for me at 55 to 60 fps vsync set to auto it's even smoother
The low poly plays smooth for me
On a convertible ultraviolet/tablet with integrated Intel 4000 graphics and 2 gb shared ram.

I could dumb the table down, but then what would have been the point in even updating it

Maybe a dev can shed some light as to why this plays on some systems and not others.

My ultraviolet is by far not a powerful system with a small amount of memory and Intel graphics and it plays smooth yet people with desktops with full desktop pcs and 550 and above nvidia graphics get stutter. I don't get it.

As for the alpha gi. I did it the way I like it, the table is free to mod without approval so feel free to change it however you like
Ultrabook not ultraviolet. Damn autocorrect.

I have not tried it yet due to OT at work but a reminder of some with problems: try to move the alpha slider more to the left, may help.

Despite the issues that people are having I did want to say how much I appreciate all of the hard work on this.  It is truly stunning - a real showpiece table.

I'll include this in the update.
As I said I am short on time for a week or so, but I'll put this in an updatte shortly.

I'm also going to change the gi lighting to be more similar to cv. Should reduce the table size a great deal and we will see if this makes a difference on fps. Also for those with not as much graphics memory this should help as it will reduce the number of gi textures from 7 per bulb to 14 total textures.

I'll start on this tonight

Great table. Wondering why the grille won't go away on the backglass. I clicked on the backglass like I normally do to "hide" it. I saved the settings but it still shows up on the next time I play. I've deleted the old version of MB but I'm 99% sure that it would go away with that version.

Thanks a lot for this UW - it looks a plays beautifully. :)

One strange thing I thought I would mention: I downloaded the desktop version (PC killer) and played it right off the bat. It played OK and while the ball wasn't quite "choppy", it wasn't completely smooth either... playable though. Then exited, changed the inclination, FOV, layback, etc... just the viewing properties, and the ball was noticeably smoother. To double check, I reloaded the table as downloaded a 2nd time, changed the properties again and reproduced the results. FPS shows a constant 60 FPS either way, but everything I do always shows up as 60 FPS, never seen it any different.

I just thought I would mention it in case it helps troubleshooting something. Could just be my PC for odd some reason.

Wow, even though the LP version shows double the FPS, the stutter is really bad on my setup. The PCKiller Edition plays much better.

Z

now that makes no sense! lol. i believe you...just makes no sense! :)

Did anyone notice creature moves with nudge as well?

It's the first thing I've tried when I checked the killer version :)

get the updated one.. it was fixed..
Yea besides the lighting changes I wouldent dumb it down any.. This is the next level in quality and just amazing work.. setting vsync made the lower one play smooth so I'm very happy to have this in my cab..Thanks for all your hard work it has played off in this one!

Lo has lower polygon models so they don't look as good. The lo version also has less dynamic models. In that version I replaced all the targets, light bulbs, bumpers, rollovers 3d models with standard vp objects.

Ringorian, no, the sound is better than the contactor for this effect, imo
