I have a saved copy of the tutorial (translated by Chrome to English) back in the day.  You can find it here: https://drive.google...QkEyQnU1V1lmWXc

GTX, would it be possible for you to zip those files up. Downloading all those files individually will take quite a while. Thanks

It is zipped.  That's google drive trying to be too smart...  In the top center of the webpage, you will see a Down Arrow.  If you click on that you will be able to download the tutorial as one big zipfile

Attached File  Targets.JPG   71.27KB   3 downloadsOK, so I have downloaded everything, and have been busily working through it.  I am up the chapter on the targets. (Drop and Circle)   What I am now having issues with is the textures.  For some reason the texture on both the drop targets and the circle targets want to wrap around the object.  Can someone provide any insight on this?

Also, i want to thank Akilles very much for this tutorial.. it should be mandatory reading for everyone!  It has definitely taught me to appreciate the incredibly hard work you all do here to make these great tables!

Thanks Malachi666 the Megatutorial have done to that more people begin to build recreations.

The issue of texture of Gate it,s because you need to impot first the picture called Gate_1 and then to select the picture in the options.

OK, thank you.  I can't seem to find the Gate_1 picture.  Also once I do import it, do I put it on the drop and stand-up targets and then the target image?  Sorry I am a bit confused.

For the targets. You can control how the image is shown by clicking on the individual control points of the wall used. Click a point and turn off the automatic checkbox and the specify from 0 to 100% how you want the image to wrap around the wal

So on the the left side set the back point to 0 and the front left point to .1 or 1 and the right front point to 99 or 99.9 and the right back point to 100

Hope this makes sense :)

OK, that worked.  I have to figure out which corner to start with, but I got the drop targets to work.  Now the central circle target...

EDIT: OK I got the circle target straightened using gtxjoe's advice above, but the black part of the image is not invisible.

EDIT2:  OK, I figured out the circle target.  It is the transparency color that was the issue

thanks again guys

Edit 3:  Back again... sorry I can't seem to get rid of the edge on the circle target.  Please see the image.

This guide is quite old now. Now the tables can be build very differently and much easier using VPX. It all depends on the author though, and the way he prefer to make the graphics and effects.
