Great job JP; thanks! drinks.gif

One question though: when playing this and past versions of AFM, the score/vid-display appears in the upper-left corner (see attached screencap).
If possible, how would I go about 'moving' it to the area immediately above the table (between the 'speakers')?

hardware/settings: Radeon 9600-series outputting to 4x3 display; running VP9 at 1200x1600 (monitor's native res) x32, all other vid-settings unchecked.

Thanks for the update JPSalas!
I indeed have to think of upgrading my Video-card as well while the tables get so much nicer & better but more 'consuming' wink.gif

Thanks again ..

Cheers,
FD.

3 things:

1. Best playable pinball ever; all shots can be made, and closest to the original machine
2. It's a bit too easy; destroyed Mars in my first game
3. Sound error (?); when you hit the saucer target after you have hit the 3 in front you will get the sound of the ball falling in the gap all times, even when you've not destoyed the saucer, this is wrong.

One day i hope that the flashers will have more lighting power, they really should "hurt"your eyes and get you crazy..but i'm sure this will come in the future..(newer) real pinball machines are famous for their flashlights..it can be done, i'm sure.

Very well done!

Loving this table, but on 4-5 occasions I've experienced some quirky/buggy behavior with the target in front of the saucer. Sometimes when the ball is traveling slowly & strikes/drops the target, it seems to 'linger' for a moment ...and one time after the target dropped the ball actually continued through it and fell into the hole (the target popped back up & the ball ejected normally, though the saucer didn't 'explode').

Since no one else has mentioned/reported this, and I'm running VP9.02 on an older system*, I suppose the problem might be at 'my end'.

When launching the ball I've noticed that quite often (~1/3 of the time) it doesn't reach the top, instead entering the playing field via the Tractor Beam ramp.
How would I go about editing the file to increase the strength of the auto-launcher/plunger?

Thanks again to JP for making this great table tup.gif

thanks 'The McD', i tried that but it's not quiet, it's silent as the grave. Even with ROM sound on max, computer sound on max.

some of my other tables are also silent, any idea what it could be, anything i can try?

Have you tried starting the silent tables and pressing 'F1'?

In that menu, you'll see options to 'Use Sound' and 'Use Samples'. For this table, check the 'Use Sound' box. Some tables require a bit of experimentation, depending on whether ROM sounds or samples are used.

Sometimes the sound just stops working in VP. It's a known issue. Just close and restart VP if this occurs.

Is the sound absent all of the time in this table and others?

Have you tried JP's Attack and Revenge from Mars? It uses the same rom, but the playfield looks more like the sequel Revenge from Mars. It's equally as good, and I prefer it over AFM. It's just my preference.
