This post is for Serpiko and Pinuck. I'm asking for permission to release a VPX mod of Close Encounters. I tried to PM both of you, but got errors that you can no longer recieve personal messages. In any case please let me know. Attached is a screenshot of my conversion.

 

There's a terrific version by Borgdog at vpinball, too.

 

Oh, I didn't know that. I wish I would have known that before I spent all this time on this.

 

Yep, that is definitely nicer then mine. Oh well. I guess I better google search my table list again before starting a project.

Thanks guys, but my goal was to get a version of the missing tables out there in vpx, so that a person could mod it and make it really nice. In this case there is a really nice table already made which is far superior to the one I was going to release. So rather than confuse people on which one to download, I will not release my conversion. Don't worry, I have more to do. I'm starting on converting Gottlieb Counterforce now... anybody got one done or is in the middle of doing one? Let me know now.

Rascal,  I would be very happy if you'll convert these two tables from VP8 to VX. Check Mate (Recel 1975) and Space Racer (Recel 1977) made by edu guitar.
