Yea, it's nice if money is not an object and you can afford a 46" screen just for pinball. The discussion can go the other way as well. We are talking about a program where the size of the table can be controlled. Not every table is going to be a perfect recreation.

Maybe. But you dont try to get table designers to make the table all out of skew just so you can save some $
Pinball is not a cheap hobby, and neither is visual pinball on a cabinet. I would definitely be very unhappy if table designers tried to make tables for the least-common-denominator rather than to match the real table as close as possible.

I guess as long as you're happy, that's what counts. Right?

I never demanded JP change his table, just made an observation. I just stated that it would be nice if the ball could be a little bigger. I don't expect every table designer to change their tables for me. But I am not the only one who has made this observation. Tables in VP have been made out of skew long before I started playing it. If you look at the beginning of the thread, I was not the one who brought up the size of the ball. I just stated I'm sure there could be a happy medium. The amount of folks on this forum who have 46" screens are in minority.

finally got around to playing this table a bit more than usual.

 

first of all it plays great, and the physics are amazing.

 

i have found a problem with the "flying rocks" diverter in the left inlane.

 

it seems to move a split second too late causing the diverter to shove the ball quickly down the inlane usually causing me to drain the ball, instead of diverting it to the flying rocks plunger.

 

it happens about 50% of the time. i checked this topic, but didnt see any discussion about this. im guessing a switch is a hair off...

anybody know a fix?  thanks/sparky
