Ok Mik, I have played this for a few hours now and have discovered couple inaccuracy's maybe you can fix? However, I notice this 1.0.5 version says FINAL in it so I don't know if you are planning any more work with this table.

The change of how the ball travels from 1.0.4 - 1.0.5 this is now correct and Thank you for fixing that smile.gif

The problem is when you hit this ramp you are not supposed to get credit for a Retina Scan. This eye socket that the ball falls into for a few seconds is there for something called a Huxley award but you don't get this award on the real pin by hitting a ramp shot.

The correct way to activate a Retina scan is hitting the Eyeball on the table with right flipper just like what happens with Car crash. Exact same concept.

With the fixes you have put in place to make the ball travel the correct way I'm not sure how you can make Retina scan activate the correct way at this time.
FYI Huxley award works and is 100% correct on this table smile.gif

Here is how things happen on the real pin.

Huxley award - Rolling the ball up the left inlane and into the Retina Scan saucer will give you 10 million and a "Huxley" bonus.

Retina scan - This is the leftmost shot of the game. The ball passes through a gate and into an eject that feeds the left inlane. If hit hard enough through the gate, it will hit the captive eyeball.

More information can be looked at here
http://www.pinball.o...olitionman.html

This table is awesome and what I mention is only really minor stuff. I love and appreciate all the work everyones does in this Community. Thanks everyone so very much smile.gif

Hi Mik, the skill shot is perfect now. Table playes fantastic and playes really fast !!!!. I have one question though, how can i increase the volume for the flippers, bumpers and slingshots ? When i run solenoid test, no sound gets played. Are there sound files missing ?
I can hardly hear them when playing, at least at my computer. Thanks for this great table, and for the many hours of fun still ahead smile.gif

Regards

Jack

Hi B2K24,hi breikers could you please change RetinaCrash_Hit in this way
Sub RetinaCrash_Hit()
'Simulate ball speed
'msgbox(activeball.velY)
if activeball.velY>=10 then
RetinaBall.kick 330,10
else
RetinaBall.kick 330,3
End if
BlockRetinaScanRamp.IsDropped=False
End Sub
and tell me if this fix the RetinaScan issue.
I have tried but i do not know the exact behaviour.
I think, but i'm not sure, that retina scan is activated by sw77 the EyeBall standup in this way only a strong hit of RetinaCrash activate the sw77 switch.

Before release a new vertion i want to be sure that it fix the issue.

For sound i'm working on it i think i miss some script call of sound.

Brilliant! The table looks great, very shiny and clear text and playfield images. Ball movement is smooth and the shots are reachable.

The cryoclaw is a bit hard to move, I assume I need to control it with the shift keys for left/right movement?
But other than that, what a treat! This is very fun to play. I can't wait to add the UVP backglass and have my friends put it in their cabs.

The profanity roms worked great. I had to laugh! I ended the first game and heard the I wonder if I could play the accordian too line ... then the sarcastic retort.
"Wonder about this s***head" LOL

Which ones the profanity rom ??

Hi gbeef please try the following step:
1)open vp load demolition man
2)uncheck hd render
3)save table
4)completely exit vp
5)open vp load demolition man
6)check hd render
7)save table
8)completely exit vp
9)open vp load demolition man
10)lanch the table

let me know if solve
If not try to rescale light_on,light_a.light_b and_light_off and plastic picture to 1024*XXXX (one dimensione=1024 the other in proportion)

Have you already tried Vp910?
If not please also try the new vp build

gbeef, your HD render is not Activated in your VP !!!!! Or if your using 910 it's called Hardware Device Rendering now in video options.

bmiki75, I made these changes in the script, compiled, but they did not help the Retina scan problem.

You see on the Table, behind the Eyeball, there is a Red square. The Retina scan should only activate when the Eyeball gets hit and collides into this Red square.
Same as making Car crash activate when the car is hit and it collides into another car that is behind it. Same concept or physics I'm saying.
The Eye socket has nothing too do with Retina scan on the real Pinball and is only there for Huxley award. This socket should not activate Retina scan at all.

I think though on the real table after the eyeball is hit, somehow the ball rolls into this socket as Retina scan is activating, but am unsure about this because it's been 10 years since I played this table. If anyone who owns this table or currently has played it, please post here with some more information please.

I think that in v1.0.5 when the ball drop down to the ramp hit the eyeball and without a test on the speed of the ball the eyeball hit the red square behind the eyeball.Now with the test of speed the red square is not activated.
I have made a skillshot and retina scan is not activated. The kiker release ball without call retina scan

Sub RetinaCrash_Hit()
'Simulate ball speed
'msgbox(activeball.velY)
if activeball.velY>=10 then
RetinaBall.kick 330,10
else
RetinaBall.kick 330,3
