ta2686, come on, Play, and i give you my 30 or 40M to raise your Score ;)

Thanks for the offer Stefan, but between my deteriorating vision and a recent stroke I am forced to give up playing. :(

OK, friends, I was too pessimistic. Had just a wonderful game with 4 x Outer Space and Bob defeated.

So the 200 million is exceeded ...

Have I said, that I love this table. :db:

@ Umpa

Nice room. I can play there for days. :-)

Oh yes, and every day a little better at Junk Yard. That's it for this week for me.

Very nice Joey. That one is going to be tough to beat for sure. Played a couple of games tonight, ended up with a couple of games just passing 100. The big question I ask myself is if Clyde is playing and saving a crushing blow for a late Saturday post :)

Tomorrow, Friday - has become the beer and Joey hunting day for me lately. But, with that score, maybe I find the beer extra tasty and giving in early :)

From now on. I won't help anyone here at VPF. Please ask Noah why that is.

I'm sure Clyde has something to post at Saturday, when I can't answer. :db:

Decided to play a few games before heading to bed. Started badly, only around 20 mill after 2nd ball.

Still far behind you though Joey - but, there is a new day tomorrow :)

I glad we're embracing the idea of going for "personal best" scores in addition to the main competition this week. Otherwise I'd be depressed by Joey's and Thalamus' scores!

Cool Table and crazy Story, you have to build a "Ship" with "Things" what no one Need, then fly into the "outher Space" ... haha ... i really love the nice Pinball Stories !

Sounds like Salvage One to me.....a TV series in 1979 starring Andy Griffith as a junkyard owner who builds a ship from scrap and salvages all of the stuff we and the Russians left on the moon.

First and foremost, have fun. Second, beat your own score. Once you do, you'll on unknown ground. This game kind of starts once you have collected all the junk.

There are some maybe not well known features in this game. None that will give you amazing scores, but, they add up slightly.

There are to video modes, the one from AFM, where if you see that you can't shoot all the saucers coming down - quickly press the plunger button. You can do this once. That strategy also works on the original game.

Second, there is a secret mode if you get back in time and the clock down in the right corner shows 03:33 - press both flippers at the same time 3 times in a row.

My focus I guess is that I'm quite careful going for those middle shots to the iron ball hanging. That area can as STAT mentioned easily end up in a side drain. As I said before, keep those side lanes lit. Sewer on the right and the toilet shots are the ones that most often give you junk in one way or another. Try to improve on those. Cradle the ball if you decide to go for the more dangerous iron ball. If you hit it dead on there is much less chance of a loosing the ball than miss and having the ball come back in a loop. I often see to get those ball saving outlanes lit during Multi-ball. Once they are - I kind of feel safer and start to gamble a bit more.
