Do we have confirmation that this is currently at Funspot? Haven't seen it there in the past, but it's been several months since my last visit. I can stop by in the next week if it is.

It should! http://www.funspotnh.com/hercules.htm

@Freneticamnesic, the numbers on the playfield balls on the right side of the table are disappearing at certain points. Specifically the 1, 3 & 4 numbers with the top of the 2 also going AWAL.  At first I thought it was just that the light was so bright behind them it was washing them out but then when the light went out the numbers were just gone. Happened several times now.

Also, are the physical balls on the table (Cue, 1 ball and 11 ball) supposed to look metallic?   I mean they look good, like Christmas ornaments, but the don't look like pool balls.

Have not seen what you're talking about with the PF lights.... they may be too intense but I haven't seen them completely disappear. Can you capture a screenshot for me next time you see it? The text is the same image as the rest of the text on the PF lights so don't know how those would disappear and the rest of the text wouldn't

And for the balls, well, I think they look cool! I gave them a pretty intense reflection material, but didn't think they looked metal. What about the Mystery Ball? It could be because there's so much white on those other balls, but they have the same material as the 8 ball otherwise

You can see the missing numbers circled here.  The first time I tried to get you a screenshot they came back before the game ended. I think I reset all of them and they came back.

Attached File  Untitled.jpg   387.2KB   16 downloads

Also, you can see what I mean about the balls looking metallic, except for the 8 ball it looks normal.

Definitely a new addition - I know exactly where they put it!  Like I said, I'm hoping to be in that area some time in the next week.  If you want to PM me with the details of what you need and the best way to capture it, I will try to help out!

PM randr, I can't :( have reached the 10 PM limit. Can't send or receive,

We need better quality pictures of the flippers, plastics, apron, instruction card and anything else you can.

Best way to capture are without glass (if you can) if not, try to get glare angles or shadows at a minimum. pref, top view, not angled.

Thanks in advance!!

Yep, 1918.   Didn't notice it on previous versions, but there are so many tables out for testing right now and until just the past couple days I was kinda dedicated to testing Vector & Black Hole.

It's like you said though, why is only some of the numbers vanishing and not the others?

I have looked and can't find the VP10 version of Black Hole for playtesting.............. Am I missing something?

I would love to be able to try Black Hole out.

Yeah, like Bob said it's not VP10, just regular VP.  I was on the Beta test team prior to release.  Check it out, cyberpez did an amazing job on it!

Has, anyone else noticed the numbers on the Sharkey's table disappearing?

Yeah it seems a bug or a change in lights.. Remove them or disable them in editor lights 2-6 and see if that works for now

I think I know why the lights did that, I don't know why the material on the balls looks different for you though. Try the download again, uploading version .19 let me know about the lights.

Ahhh ok.

Cheers Shadowclassic and Bob I will check the Black Hole release out.

By the way, nice Beatles reference Bob! 10/10.

Fren, your sharkeys shootout table loads and plays perfectly on my system with no graphic glitches to speak of at all in VPX1918. Brilliant stuff mate!

That seems to have fixed the numbers on the PF balls disappearing.

It's odd that no one else is getting the metallic 3D balls. I must have a special kind of video card :)

What causes the crazy re-coil/bounce on flippers when the ball shoots down and hits them?  Sometimes there is enough re-coil to send the ball back up a ramp or loop around the top of the playfield.

I was playing Monster Bash and the ball come around the orbit, hit the left flipper and then the recoil from the flipper shot it up the right ramp.

I just figured they would eventually get around to fixing it.

But I agree with you and it is the reason I don't play much VP 10 right now. On most of the tables I have tried out the ball flies off the flippers so fast it ruins the feel of it being real pin.

There have been so many great advances so far though and I'm sure it will get addressed at some point.

Hey, Fren - thanx for the Sharkeys Shootout! :)

I would recommend to use 0,01 for the Park Position of the plunger instead of the standard value otherwise it's a little bit jumpy the first time pulling it with analogue plungers.

Just Curious about tables that doesn't work for me:

-Papa Smurf and Toledo are the only2 tables that starts

-All other tables crashes VP10 during table loading
