I just check my Deadpool and John Wick.  Deadpool is just fine with FlexDMD turned on.  John Wick?  The DMD has an issue.  A quick search on the table support thread found the fix.  Line 44 (Const FlexDMDHighQuality) change to False.  That fixed my issue.

 

John Wick is a mod of my IT table, so I guess the author just made a mess with the init values for the FlexDMD in higher resolution

Doesn't look like anyone has reported it here as of yet, but there seems to be a 'bug' with this table for the past few versions. Not sure if JP was aware, or if this latest update addresses it or not. 
The behavior is lil DP calling out "EXTRA BALL" over and over again when there is no extra ball awarded. Earliest report of this I have seen was from April 2022 (not on here but on discords, etc.)

As always, I'm super impressed by the work of JP Salas. 

I'm not sure what's going on with this PUP Pack though? It's set to run in 2 screen mode with topper and DMD on backscreen and FlexDMD is enabled. I'm running the latest VPX10.8, latest FlexDMD, lastest B2SServer, and latest PUPPlayer, all downloaded and installed today. Other tables and PUP packs working flawlessly.

 

There's a gap in the overlay on the back screen that's showing the wallpaper. I'm guessing it's meant to display something else, and when I launch the PUP pack test in the editor, there's a display (or I think 2 displays actually), on the right hand side of the playfield.

 

Any ideas?

I have not made the PUP Pack, so I haven't a clue. I guess a PUP pack needs some extra lines of code in the script, so maybe you should check the PUP author or release thread at VPU. I only use FlexDMD in my tables (and I use my own DMD made with flashers for the desktop version).

I was swapping out to another .drectB2s file and I somehow bricked my Deadpool. I can still pull the plunger, but I can't add any credits or start a new game. I deleted any references in the Registry and the nvram, but still no go. I want to play Deadpool!! Can anyone suggest what my issue might be? Thanks

OK, test the v6.0, ist much faster as the v5.12 but the table works with flexdmd v1.91.

 

But the PuP Pack is no longer working properly.

It starts and plays the start video, but no other videos are activated during gameplay.

Needed some more lines in the script for the PuP Pack, I asked the creator from the Pack for help. maybe sometimes.

I just installed FlexDMD 1.9.1

 

When the DMD was inside the table (VPX7 version) ->   

 

the DMD looked like this ->  

 

 

With the FlexDMD (VPX8 version) it looks like this ->  

 

Perhaps there are settings for the FlexDMD I didn't find ?

 

Or is it possible in the script to select the DMD which is inside the table ->

Yes, you can still use the desktop DMD. Just press F12, find the user options and change the DMD type.

 

The default FlexDMD values are way too bright, you need to adjust those options. To do that you start a table, right click on the FlexDMD and choose customize Style.

Hi JP,

I'm trying to run ver.6.0 of this table but get the following error message:

ActiveX-Komponenten kann kein Objekt erstellen: 'FlexDMD.FlexDMD'

 

Unfortunatly I cannot access the user options (F12) to change from FlexDMD to Desktop DMD because the table does not start.

Any ideas? Thank you :-)

Maybe Just Install flexdmd? Or edit the (tablename).ini directly. There are stored all Options of F12

@imhotep install Flexdmd, this is not Rom based so there is no table DMD
